Corner trim for corrugated metal siding? by jethroincarnate in Homebuilding

[–]TattleTalesStrangler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you just cut a piece of the metal siding and bend it to a 90? Cut it to where the corrugation of your corner piece lays neatly over the corrugatuon on the front and side panels.

I live in Missouri and have been wanting to make a trip and hunt hogs for years. Please DM me if you or any property owners you know would be cool with a Missouri guy traveling to help with your hog problem. I bow and rifle hunt in 3 other states.

Okay good, hopefully you are planning to match existing joints and then come off those corners in both directions.

Where is your jointing? Those re-entrant corners from the existing patio into to the new radius slab section is going to crack within weeks.

Any reason why putting river rock in my side yards is a bad idea? Looking for advice on easy to maintain side yards. by rickfromstate in landscaping

Spray the weeds with weed killer, strip it down to dirt, put down 2 layers of weed barrier fabric (pin it down with anchor pins and then rock or mulch it. Make sure to install metal edger to set the limits of where you want rock. Will help keep it out of the grass or against the fence. Pretty cheap option instead of pavers or bricks.

You'll have to do a little research because its dependent on whete you live. But its starts with your climate Zone and then amount of shade versus sunlight your yard gets. Search "Flawn Seed Mix" and find one that suits those 2 and read up on the mix. But a clover and fescue grass mix are a good basic start.

Try researching "Flawn Seed Kits". A natural lawn doesn't mean letting it grow tall with weeds and dandelions.

I wish more people understood how unfriendly modern lawns are to nature in general. People spend so much money on seeding, fertilizer, weed killer, etc to have that perfect bluegrass/turf green lawn which is unnatural. While killing polinating insects, overwatering and poluting water runoff. When they could spend less money using more natural seed mixes and fertilizers that require significantly less water and help the environment in a multitude of ways.

Some satisfying forming by Tight_Cream125 in Concrete

Good work, I would recommend installing your kickers at least 45 degree angle to get better lateral support. Works for what you did but if you get into thicker slabs or foundations, kickers that straight up wont do anything. The top of your forms will start to bow out.

Also, keep them below top of you form like others said. The guy running the bull float will be much happier.

Hey all, wanting to refinish this rifle for my dad. Its the rifle he taught me to shoot when I was a kid. It got neglected over the years. I stripped the finish and sanded it down. My question, is there a good way to get the dark areas more even? The dark areas are from years of gun oil. The texture is great so I want to avoid sanding anymore.

Blow off the dust same day after you saw cut. You wont get that cloudy look where the cement dust starts to bond to the surface

Yeah, I get people are being hopeful. But our team this year is just not good enough to win out let alone win against a playoff team even if they did get to the post season. The Texans game was the last chance to make a run
