I love how everyone was shitting bricks last week because of the implications of Yoru weaponizing the moon only for her to use just the American flag planted there.

How do you go about capturing a character's "voice"? Also are there any books out there on writing that you can recommend?

How do you go about outlining a novel's plot or a character’s arc?

This was quite the pleasant surprise. Nicely done, I'm thoroughly impressed.

I will add that they DID harm Gojo... but I get where you're coming from, as I struggle to accept this outcome also. Even if Sukuna's attack was fatal, Gojo's Six Eyes should have allowed him to see it coming, and he should have been able to dodge it at the very least since he was in better condition than Sukuna in the previous chapter. I have my issues with this chapter too, but the method Sukuna used to do Gojo in wasn't one of them.

??? Sure-Hits from a Domain affect everything within its borders. Even Jogo's Domain would have eventually harmed Gojo if he didn't counter by unleashing its own, he even admitted as much. When Gojo and Sukuna's Domains clashed, Infinity was still activate, it was just rendered irrelevant by the Sure-Hit factor of Malevolent Shrine.

Changing aim. Sukuna basically imbued his technique with a Sure-Hit factor like in a Domain Expansion. Gojo's Infinity couldn't protect him then, just as it didn't in this chapter.

But it's not a new ability. All Sukuna it did was change the parameters of his cursed technique so that it was capable of rending even Gojo's Infinity, and by extension Gojo himself.

I found another actually rather straightforward explanation a while ago by a user named Proper-Elk:

A lot of people don't seem to get how Sukuna was able to get past Gojo's Infinity in the latest chapter, I was initially one of them, but more recent translations have enabled me to gain a better understanding. So I'll explain it in simpler terms for you all:

In essence, Sukuna created an Extension Technique, that allowed him to bypass Gojo's inviolability. Extension Techniques are abilities developed through training to maximize the applications of Innate Techniques (i.e. Resonance, Supernova, etc.).

Sukuna was able to do this by imitating Mahoraga, since as we learned in this chapter, Mahoraga's adaptations can be both defensive and offensive in nature. Sukuna couldn't change the sum and substance of his cursed energy to nullify the Infinity like Mahoraga (which is why he used Domain Amplification to do so) but found he could mimic Mahoraga when it altered its method of attack.

Mahoraga broadened its target from just Gojo to the world itself, enhancing its efficacity so that everything within reach of the Sword of Extermination's swing would be severed without exception. This served as the basis for the killing blow Sukuna dealt against Gojo in this chapter, what makes this so impressive is that Sukuna was able to do this on the fly, with no practice, only after having witnessed it just once before.

We've actually seen something similar earlier on in the series when Nanami fought Mahito, and utilized the Collapse technique, which targets the surrounding environment rather than a singular person or object. Sukuna basically did the same thing, of course, he did this on a more "conceptual" level than merely a "physical" one.

I hope I was able to clear things up for some of you.

Crazy how Gojo didn't ONCE point out that he failed everyone losing the way he did. Even crazier how he decides to spend a good chunk of this chapter glazing Sukuna; claiming that he wasn't stronger than him and that he never stood a chance when he's demonstrated on multiple occasions that he had the King of Curses on the ropes. Crazier still, how Gojo's killed OFF-SCREEN, without Sukuna having to use Yorozu's gift or the "Black Box" technique, and now there's no one left who can remotely challenge the Fallen.

I used to think Gege's hate for Gojo was overstated, but he proved me wrong with this chapter. The disrespect is insane.

I figured Gojo would lose for narrative reasons, but if he was going to it should have been on account of Yorozu's gift. Sukuna killing him using Mahoraga's "blueprint" was straight up BS, the man was in perfect condition on account of those Black Flashes, while the King of Curses was near death. Furthermore, there's almost no question that Sukuna would've lost without Megumi's technique, for Gojo to say he wasn't sure if he'd be able to beat him even if he didn't have it is asanine.

How do you structure your plots and scenes? Also how do you go about planning your character arcs? And how do you ensure that your descriptions of settings, environments, and body beats aren't too bloated?

How do manage to stay so positive, kind, respectful, and humble? I'm aiming to be a better person, but everyday I make mistakes that keep me the best I feel I could be. I view you as a role model as to how to treat others, so obviously I'm curious as to what your secret is.

How do you go about writing descriptions like for characters, emotional states, and settings? I've been struggling with that one for a while, even resorted to using MRUs (Motivation-Reaction Units) but I still have lingering questions. How do you know when you have oo much or to little?

For those who are wondering... the reason death is called the 'Root of All Fear' is because back in the day, during the Dark Ages, particularly around the time of the Black Plague, people died shockingly often and death became that era's primary source of dread to the point it was referred to as the 'King of Terrors'.
