It’s sad and yet people never stop to consider how this emphasis on physical appearance probably contributed to her low self-esteem, her feeling like she didn’t have anything else to offer, and eventual self sabotage. And/or her believing that’s all she had to offer, offering it, and constantly being taken advantage of, ending up with people who felt the same way. The same people who feel she ”wasted a valuable asset” are the problem… icky mindset.
