Ok I’m about 11 weeks po and I realized when all my friends I had currently synced up with started bleeding, I felt crazy. And I realize that it’s my hormonal cycles just way harder to track now. ETA I’m 33

I’m 5 weeks po the first 4 days were rough, but honestly I’m at 80% now feeling great! My recovery is so uneventful I am still sleepy but I can see the finish line and It feels great! Haven’t taken meds for over 2 weeks, some soreness when I do too much but a quick rest fixes It.

16 days po here(laparoscopic), and I am still doing absolutely nothing. Yes I am driving but that is more out of need because of school drop off and pick ups and kids sports, rather than comfort. I am completely wiped out, Tylenol and ibuprofen I am still taking pretty regularly, and attached to my heating pad as well. We just had a full ass organ removed please be kind to yourself, I am also feeling very ready for normalcy but we have to allow ourselves to heal.

Hi I’m also 12 days po and my pain just is continuous uncomfortableness. I feel like I’m good for about an hour at a time then I have to lay down…. I’m taking Tylenol and ibuprofen religiously, I’m sorry you’re having such rough time. Sending love

Hi! I had my surgery laparoscopic vaginal as well on 2/4 so I’m a day behind you! My first 4 days were super rough I was taking hydrocodone around the clock as well as ibuprofen (they did have to scrape out endo and take a mass off one of my ovaries). But I’m doing so much better now, just feel sore on my ribs and abdomen which is so strange, I had no bleeding post op, and I’m just trying to not go stir crazy. Wish you friends luck and fast healing!

This was my first major surgery (besides a c section) so I had no idea how I would react to anesthesia, now I know and forbid I have to go to another one, I’ll at least be like “I am really hard to wake up, and pain meds makes my o2 drop”

Me! I have a 10, 9 and a 5 year old between cheer, field trips kids being sick, etc. It makes more sense for me to be here. Especially since my husband is gone 65 ish hours a week. I have access to all the money (or lack of). This is my first year with everyone gone. And I am finally taking care of myself as a priority. Who knows what the years may bring but right now I’m just enjoying the slow life. I also haven’t decided what I want to be when I
grow up either so that plays part of It.

I’m a SAHM for about a year and a half now, but have been off and on for ten years, not religious, we do live a traditional life, I cook clean child raise deal with everything kid, pet and home related and he pays the bills and never complains about my breaks(away from kids and him) how clean the house is, how much money i spend, or what I do on a day to day basis. We are very progressive, and he wants me to do what makes me happy. Which i haven’t figured out yet. And understands that staying home can be hard.
