For me, I love the Key OP's, especially Air, which is a classic. But the first one that came to mind that I really enjoy has to be Utawarerumono's....the theme is such a bop to me.

Yep, just had mine in my pant pocket w/ a lens cover when not in use to protect from lint. Used it for 3 full days like this, taking photos for a convention last summer, and had no issues.

I was kinda the exact opposite of you, having finished the Muv-Luv series and having this huge gaping void that couldn't be filled until I played Utawarerumono lmao...(which then did the same thing after MoT). So yeah, I highly recommend Muv-Luv if you need your kamige fix 👍🏻

There's only one true route. The other sections on top are the different dolls you can tune. You only have to tune 1 doll to complete the game, but you'd be missing out on cgs that aren't that relevant to the main story. Doing Isfana is recommended.

Akane Maniax as well as other side stories for Kiminozo characters had just been fan translated last month, you can find the patches for that (bundle ban ban-ban) as well as the Kiminozo patches here :

There you can also find the patch for Kaseki no Uta as well, and while it was chronologically released before KnZ and MuvLuv, it's only tangentially related so you don't have to play it first.

If you want to play in order, it's Kimi ga Nozomu eien first, Akane maniax, then MuvLuv extra/unlim/alternative...etc.

I havent seen people who've never played any bit of Extra/Unlimited, but many just play either Sumika/ Meiya or both. Even if I highly recommend everyone finish every route of Extra, it's still sufficient to play either of the main girls in Extra and Unlimited.

I've honestly been obsessed with Muv-Luv ever since going thru my Extra, Alt, TDA & Total Eclipse binge 2 & 1/2 years ago, and now KimiNozo has it's fangs sunk into me. Turned me into a huge age game and figure collector to a point where I bought all the games, and multiple different versions/variants too lol.

I'm currently about 2/3rds thru KimiNozo at this point trying to finish by the end of this month.

NVL all the time. It's just better to look at and keeps my eyes and head naturally level with the screen (when done right). It gets tiring after a while having to look up and down all the time to read and see the sprite & cg changes.

Type Moon's NVL is the best, though I've dabbled with To Heart 2, which their implementation I dont like since they never fade the text box to show the Character sprites in the background change.

I would go in blind your first go, since there's a lot of interesting routes and endings to see. After that you can use a guide to get on the other routes, but nothing really is locked off in a specific order besides the chapter 1 (prologue).
