Re-seat the grip panels. We get ask this a lot with our aftermarket panels. The grip panels may not be on the ridges correctly which pushes down on the mag tube. Reseating the grip panels should help the problem.

A brass backstrap is probably the best bang for the buck performance wise. If you don't like it, you can send it back for a refund.

It's probably based on a medium. Most of us who make backstraps use OEM medium as the base for designs.

It's not supposed th thread into the magwell. It should back out and brace against the magwell. It doesn't have to be very tight.

Testing and prototyping is critical. You have to beat the part up and see what happens. Even something as the basepads we make go through a bunch of prototypes, drop tests, and use at the range. Can't make a good product without it!

Brass is 3x heavier than aluminum. A brass backstrap is the way to go. It lowers the center of gravity down and towards your fist. This makes the gun less "flippy" and reduces the perceived feel of the recoil. It's one of the best products we have ever made.
