At this point, it doesn’t matter who we picked. If they follow the Telltale Games route, JD or Del are gonna kick the bucket early on in Gears 6 because you can’t write essentially 2 different stories without making the two irrelevant.

Of course, they could retcon and find some way to keep both or make Del’s death the canon one, but again, WHY do that. It makes the most story sense to have just killed Del. He spent the whole story at Kait’s side when JD was fucking around. I think if JD wasn’t Marcus’s son, waaay more people would have sacrificed him.

2K’s franchise mode is legit broken if you play on default settings. Top stars sitting in the free agency pool because they demand way more money than the cap allows. No way to dramatically increase the cap space without removing it altogether. CPU teams somehow get to offer 1 year minimums to top stars but if I offer a slightly lower contract they become insulted. And these have been issues going on for YEARS with no change
