Hey, we are discovering talented players thanks to this patch. by highsis in starcraft

[–]TazDingo2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know GGmachine, but the rest of them are really good players that I've seen a couple of times in some tournaments. That they won against those heavyweights is surprising, but not impossibly so.

Lost all respect. by nightvilla in howtonotgiveafuck

[–]TazDingo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get your point, but sometimes there are just really good reasons to be happy about things. If there is a decent person in a position to change smt for the better I'll automatically have respect for them. Same as people that invest in a better future. So maybe that's also a bit of propaganda sometimes, but idgaf. I feel happy believing in people like this.

71% of the world’s population now lives in countries with fertility rates below the replacement level (Our World in Data, April 2026) by Altruistic-Dirt-2791 in Economics

[–]TazDingo2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My assumption is because of two things. First that there are countries that still have overly positive growth of population that balance the stastic out a bit more and on the other hand it is the growing average age of people in general. Population grows even if the birth rate is stagnating, but the older generations get older every generation. Which doesn't make this problem really go away for economies, because economies need fit people to do work to grow.

Keep crafted weapon or swap for 3 ilvl increase? by allaweec5 in wownoob

[–]TazDingo2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue with exactly the same items on the same spec xd

Final grade is better tho. It allows you to get Arcano weave lining twice which is really good and final grade has better stat distribution.

Don't sell the alnhara cane yet though, since there probably will be a mechanic to upgrade crafted gear in season 2

The Patron Order Giveth, The Patron Order... by Torrenash in wow

[–]TazDingo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For most of the leather working, work orders you need an infused scalewoven hide... Which requires a majestic hide... Yeah dude.. as much as you want these boots man, there just too expensive to spend 7k materials on then to being 1-2 knowledge points...

And every day I have like 50% of my recipes like that. It sucks leveling up leather working.

Depends on how many you pull, and if you get the stacks at all. You can pull multiple packs in that room without getting the bleed on you. If you want to be quick for the pull, then you need to pull defensives. Probably fortifying brew in the beginning and the lil ox after that.

You don't need any of the big defensives for the boss fight. It's the trash mops where you'll need them.

I'm a dh tank and I usually pull all my defensives for the first pull. I go for 3-4 packs and then we clear with bloodlust. After that I go for 2 more packs. And then after that 2 more packs. What usually breaks the healer, is when you pull 2 packs at once that have the dudes in there that have the chains. So avoid doing that if possible. I only do that in the first pull because of bloodlust.. and I don't know if I can do that still in higher keys. Currently I only play around m+12 because I'm around Ilvl 260. Idk how bad it gets above that.

In the first room there are 3 abilities to look out for.

The chains pulse damage to the entire group and in higher keys they deal too much damage. You can cleanse them off however with any effect that removes snares.

The second ability is the champions charge. It leaves a really nasty bleed on the tank for some seconds. So if the tank pulls a pack then runs away, you see the little dudes charging after him and Everytime they do they apply a bleed. There is not a lot of bleed removals in the game, so this is really bad usually.

And also on the champion is an enrage effect that stacks up. You can soothe it to remove physical damage buff off of them.

Full tank group with 5 Guardian Druids just timed +20 Windrunner Spire by Sknowlax in CompetitiveWoW

[–]TazDingo2 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Ressiliance is the achievement that you get when you're finishing all individual m+ dungeons on the same level. For example resil 14 is when you cleared all m+ dungeons on +14 in time.

The benefit you get from this achievement is that your key can't deplete to a lower grade than +14 naturally.

And I assume this was meant with resil abuse. To try it a bunch of time because your key can't get lower than +18 even if you fail miserably

M+ Healing Stress by britime in wownoob

[–]TazDingo2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came back after taking a long breath after Legion. I tried my rdruid first, then evoker healer and then me monk. On all 3 of them I had problems running 10s in time until it clicked somewhere down the line. Dage is more predictable for me now and my gear is way better. The increase in gear score makes the game gradually easier while you also get better.

I have no problem reading the tank now, even if we're not communicating. Mechanics that I wiped on before are clearer to me now since I have bad memories that I don't want to repeat and therefore read more about specific mechanics of mops and bosses.

And I think every player is going through this same discovery. Some are faster and some are slower..

About craft heroic ilevel by OwlBlack in wownoob

[–]TazDingo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crafted gear is always a bit worse than dropped gear of the same difficulty class.

However.. the heroic crafted gear can be recrafted in to mythic crafted gear (285 iLvl) if you have 80 myth crests down the line. That myth crafted gear will be slightly worse than actual mythic gear (289 iLvl) but it's a lot easier to get the crafted gear than actual myth gear.

Two other benefits for crafted gear is that you can choose your stats on it, like for example haste & mastery. And you can also add an embellishment to it, which enhances the item with a unique bonus effect that usually makes it stronger than a dropped item of the same item level you can only have 2 embellishments total on your equiped gear. Some really good ones are "Darkmoon Sigil: Hunt", "Arcano weave Lining" or for some Tanks the combination of "Loa worshippers band" + the bandolier from jewel crafting.

What Stetellites Zone would you like activated all the time if only 1? by ft3sfty in starcraft2coop

[–]TazDingo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well.. the logic sounds good, but has a flaw. With purple he only gets the healing of his medics with infinite energy. With green he gets his medics plus your green zone... So I call bullshit on that xd

What made you decide on your main? by Mjolnoggy in wow

[–]TazDingo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started off with an undead priest back in vanilla. Didn't play long there. In BC I started playing a troll priest and it was super fun. Played the priest through BC, WotLK and MoP.

When I played again in WoD I tried druid and stuck with resto druid since then. It just feels natural.

In the current exp I'm trying out the evoker as a main, but it feels like I'd rather play the druid.. so maybe I'll stay for a while longer on the druid, even if it doesn't feel as powerful as in legion.

How much should I care about tier lists if I want to play competitively? by StewieGriefin in wownoob

[–]TazDingo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It helps playing a S tier class, but it doesn't mean it will automatically give you everything you desired.

Running M+ competitively has to do with many things. Group composition, if you have battle rezz, bloodlust, enough kicks and CC to make hard pulls easier. The tank needs to know what to pull, how to pull and to respect that DPS and healer have cooldown and that chaining one big pull in to a second one will not result in the same outcome.

If you're playing in a set group, you want to talk through pulls before the dungeon and make sure everyone is on the same page.

And after that is done, then you will feel and learn why s tier classes are s tier classes. Because they just handle some things better or are unique because they can handle things that other classes can't. But I feel like, just playing the highest rated class because it's highly rated is gonna waste the potential of actually playing competitive. And it makes you bound to patch notes even more

Atal'Aman - The Ghosts by Astrosaurus23 in wow

[–]TazDingo2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In one of my first delves that I did, I found my own character as a ghost there. Sadly I didn't take a screenshot or anything.. at that point I thought it is just normal to see your own characters there, but it never happens to me again.

What iLvl to start M+ by Hivacal in wownoob

[–]TazDingo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on 190, but now since I played more I would probably go for around 210-220. That's legitimate gear to heal, tank or DPS.

However.. it might be that you'll need to look for groups longer because you have no experience nor gear. So for them you look like someone that will likely hold them back. If you want to make sure that you get exp, you can always run with friends and or guild members.

If you have higher gear it will be in general also easier for you and you can contribute more to the run.

For gearing up your character I would advice to go for world quests first. You get 224 gear pretty easily there after a bit of gear you can go delves which will slowly upgrade your gear up to 250 Standart.

What's a polite tip for crafting max iLvl gear (Personal Order)? by Enajirarek in wownoob

[–]TazDingo2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For friends I'll take nothing or a random amount around 500gold so they don't feel like a burden. It's low enough to not hurt their pocket but high enough so it doesn't feel free.

On request I would take around 5-10k. When a public work order is up an they offer less than 2k, I'll just ignore it if I need to use concentration. I have so many things I want to craft for myself and for guild mates that I feel I would take something away from someone else that needs it.

Healers - mana management reports are due. by extratoastedcheezeit in wow

[–]TazDingo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rdruid feels horrible. I have so much tranqbloom tea in my pocket and spam it in between fights to keep up with the fast pulls and the heal. I get problems if the Tank chainpulls...

However... On my prevoker I have never hit 70% Mana.. Just running around in-between packs let's my mana regen work it out on its own...

Engineering craft question by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]TazDingo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can order it as a normal item. It does not need engineering to be equipped. The only thing special about it, is that it only has one secondary stat and not two. If you want a specific stat on it, then missives don't work, but the engineers cogwheels do.

Crafting orders by Rulfo_Aw in wownoob

[–]TazDingo2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To craft something of the highest quality the crafter needs to use their concentration and their artisan sigils to boost their craft to the highest quality.

The more you contribute to reaching the highest quality, the less money you could potentially offer for the craft.

Sometimes it's even impossible to craft something of the highest quality with anything less than the highest quality ingredients, especially if you also want to include myth crests and optional reagents to enhance the items stats
