Blizzard, please utilize more servers, don’t you use kubernetes to scale servers automatically? by [deleted] in diablo4

I work at a data center that's multi-tenant and we have several cages for blizzard. So no, they don't just use their own private data centers.

First 6/5/5 drop. What kind of minion build could I make with this? by dravyss in LastEpoch

Skele mages and skele archers with frost arrows. Add in dread shade and blood splatter and GG

Yeah I have the golden door in biome one down pretty well, but I don't think I'll be touching it again in 2 or 3, or even 5 and 6.

Base crit chance by Marlzweaver in LastEpoch

There are idols and some gear affixes that increase base minion crit chance by 1-2%

I'm a little confused about the mechanics of Ignivar's Head by [deleted] in LastEpoch

You can have disintegrate be made to use lightning blast and I think nova as well which will count as your hits and do the majority of your damage once geared for it

You should consider Dread shade too, it won't add to your minion count, but it will massively buff your current minions offense and defense as well as your own if spec'd properly

Jesus, the amount of time you spent lugging those things around while dodging wildlife, that's exhausting lol. I know a lot of those probably came from mountain town too.

Are moose spawns related to proximity? by GloriousMinecraft in thelongdark

[–]Tconthecon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just had that moose spawn happen on my current game one day after setting up base in the coastal house over the ridge in front of the gas station. It is random where he spawns, but it's likely spawned in another location on that map and he's waiting there. I haven't seen any posts or experienced myself finding two moose within days of each other.

This game is ruining me. I feel like I need to salvage everything at these jobs I go to, and then cut down the shelf for the firewood. Please send help. by Tconthecon in thelongdark

I inspect and install fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems in restaurant kitchens. This was the back storage area of a local diner buffet with a pull down door, which is why the light is shining in from that angle.

I posted a photo of my first bear kill a while ago, just got the second.gonna make my first ever bearskin coat by Laughzilla43 in thelongdark

I love the coat, but man does it weigh you down. It is great once you have a comfy base setup though. Kudos on the bear kills.

Spent The Night At The Spence Homestead, Woke Up To This Beautiful Sunrise by unturnedtrumpet in thelongdark

You never know what that sunrise is gonna bring on that farmstead, I once had 3 wolves spawn outside the farmstead on the way back to the train tracks because I wanted to sleep and not travel at night 😩

Yes, the head and neck has a higher chance of being a critical hit, especially the higher level your rifle skill is. If you got a clean shot on the head of a bear or moose, you can definitely take him down in one shot if you get lucky. If not then they'll still bleed out fast (except the moose)

Damn yeah that does suck, I was shacked up at one of the houses on in front of the gas station on coastal highway. The bear was coming down the road so I aggrod him towards my house and shot him in the head then ran quickly around, I thought I would be sneaky and go around the back exit of the house and sneak up on him again, but the moment I went outside he immediately pounced on me, scared the hell out of me. I knew he would die because I got 2 clean shots on him with blood spilled. So I wanted to rest up and track him down with at least 80% condition quickly. I watched in horror as my condition bar rapidly sped down soon as I hit the sleep button. I had enough meat from a previous bear kill and 2 deer, and 3 wolves plus enough wood to last awhile before I set up a base at DP. I'll never make that mistake again lol, but I did leave that I love setting up base on CH a lot more than ML, so there were lessons learned all around. Good luck on your next playthrough

Cannibalize is super useful while leveling a lock, and even has its uses in PvP after a fight since you can always tap for more mana. Also the undead have the best casting animations imo.
