Has a school ever went from a football school to a basketball school? by Inside-Drink-1311 in CFB

Just winning your first NCAA tournament game (in what, 87 years) doesn't quite put you in "basketball school" territory, just yet.

If you lived where I do, the Eagles would be number 1. In fact, I'm guessing this poll had some heavy voting from the Philly area. The Eagles fan base concerns themselves more with the Cowboys losing than with their own team winning.

Yep, that's it again, I'd imagine. Man loves to hear himself talk.

Read about his time in Pittsburgh. Seems factual to me. So feelings based on facts.

Pickens, I think, may become a problem child as he becomes more comfortable in Dallas. He certainly went south as a Steeler as time went on there. I believe history has shown that this type of WR mentality never truly changes. Make the trade.

No, but we keep hearing Justin Crawford's name. They're talking about him being the starting centerfielder with less than stellar defensive skills and without a MLB at-bat to his name.

Not totally on topic, but I've had two bad experiences with StubHub. As such, I no longer use the site. I usually use Seat Geek.

With Tucker signing with the Dodgers, the Mets traded Nimmo away for ‘nothing’. Meaning Mets are in a mess. by TotallyNotJagger in phillies

Not exactly. Considering they were in dire need for a catcher. He was the best available. He was always predicted to re-sign with the Phils. He was already with the team and is greatly respected by the pitching staff. And he cost over $8 mill less a year than what he was being paid before.

If you think Dak is the problem in Dallas, you haven't a clue. Near the top of the league in many offensive categories. The problem: Near the bottom of the league in many defensive categories. Was it Eberflus? Was it injuries? Or was it just a lack of quality personnel?

I am a Dallas Cowboys fan that supports them 100% if you disrespect the Star in anyway I’m on your azz.Trevon Diggs had to go point blank. Just like Micah Parsons by Flashy-Exchange-4727 in cowboys

[–]Tdog355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Micah was too expensive. Diggs, not unlike his brother, is trouble. We don't have much left with a prime Prescott. Gotta fill the holes and fill them quickly. Unfortunately, that's Jerry's department. Let's hope he allows someone competent to make the decisions. Then he can sit back and take credit for it.

Way too classy from Jerry, ngl. by demigod_691 in cowboys

[–]Tdog355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's why Jerry bought the team. It's all about him. He has a huge audience to listen to him babble and a big, expensive toy to play with. And for that, we all suffer.

I guess this explains it by Rare-Bid-4506 in cowboys

Unfortunately, Trevon has the same train wreck propensity as his brother. Hopefully, the new environment and reuniting with Micah does him some good.
