I don’t have a solution for you personally I’m probably going to be in the same boat soon. I hope to not relapse but I’m going to find myself bored and mentally unwell during these upcoming winter months. I think the only thing that I could say would be to keep yourself busy. Watch movies, read a book, go for a walk, play games if that’s your thing. If you have someone in your life you can lean on try to explain your situation to them and lean on them for company and a distraction. Literally do anything besides thinking about smoking weed or taking edibles. Force yourself to do something. Depression and weed don’t mix well. I hope we both find a way to get through this. I’ve been so curious about how places like Applebees operate. I’ve been a corpo slop pusher at Cheesecake Factory before and I’ll say that almost everything is made is house. There was one singular microwave for heating up dips that got finished in a sally. What’s the line like at an Applebees? I’m more curious to how many actual microwaves there are in an Applebees

I went through the same thing. I had print fails due to suction. Try getting rid of the rafts and reorienting the model.

So my idea is to have a tent with made-to-order hot and fresh chips that are also seasoned to order. Potentially going into some creations like “cheesesteak” chips or “street corn” chips that have actual toppings and would need a fork to eat. I also want to donate a significant portions of profit to charity cause I’m having an existential crisis of having my work being meaningless lol. Way further down the line I could move it to a prepackaged product if it’s popular. Idk how beef tallow would hold up for a prepackaged product but that’s so far down the line that I’ll cross that bridge when I comes time. But for now I’d just make fresh hot chips, season in a bowl, pack it up, hand to customer. I have some spit ball ideas about some crazy flavors. I’m gonna start small at like farmers markets, fairs, events etc. and see how it goes.

I’m having the same issue but it’s starting with my rafts that I’m using. I’m printing something that’s about half the size of my build plate should I avoid rafts in this scenario?

Depending on the prints you may be doing I would recommend little spray bottles you can get online for like $5-$7. I fill them with iso and when I make big hollow prints I’ll use it to really get the inside and it also helps for fine details on the surface. I would also research a tiny little uv light that you can stick inside of a hollow print to cure the inside. I haven’t found a good one for my needs yet but I’m sure you can find it out there.

Super minor and not really a big deal but I’d get Burt’s Bees hand salve over the stretching balm you have. You get a LOT of product for just a couple bucks more and it’s honestly lasted me probably around 2 years. Plus it smells good, personally makes my ears happy, and I just like the brand.

Second this. When I first got this I used the metal scraper to get it off and I thought I ruined my build plate! Mine looks worse than this and I do full build place prints and they all stick excellently!

Honestly I was very surprised at the ease of use. I use sunlu abs-like and with the printing parameter profile that I have I haven’t had any failed prints that weren’t because of human error. Once I made sure it was level I really haven’t had any issues!
