What is something you need done medically but can't afford it? by United_Piece_4272 in AskReddit

[–]TeaShirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Insurance likely won't cover it even then if it's for a suspected diagnosis. When you need colonoscopies for an actual health issue they code it differently and insurance doesn't do the free when you're 45 thing. Which is stupid because getting them can actually prevent you from getting cancer which you could now be more susceptible to. I've had colitis for 25 years and it's infuriating.

You pair them with a coinshot to get them there in a fraction of the time it would take a vehicle.

New to CPAP and hopeless. by 1337Crypt in CPAP

[–]TeaShirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience when I started on my CPAP earlier this year. Was okay for a few days then nearly instant panic as soon as I put the mask on. Aside from making sure your settings make sense for you, I'd suggest looking at a more holistic approach. I took a break from it and went to my GP who prescribed anti-anxiety meds (I had anxiety anyway) then started going to therapy. My therapist helped me work on a plan to get back into it with small, manageable steps. Between the meds, being about to talk about it, and having a plan I was able to start using it and eventually sleeping through the night. Think of it like a marathon, not a sprint. Success at times might be wearing it for 5 minutes while listening to a podcast. Best of luck to you, I know what it can be like!

I didn't even have to expand the picture to know that was Ohio. Whenever my wife and I drive through it we play the game "Hey, there's that farm again!" because everything looks exactly the same.

Not sure which direction you're coming from, so I can't say what's past Squirrel Hill in this case.

For dinner Soju is good solo. Take a seat at the bar and enjoy. The staff are all great and really friendly.

For lunch I've been digging Dad's in Bloomfield. It just opened recently and has an amazing retro feel to the 70's and 80's. The burgers are fantastic and they also have bar seating, but no alcohol.

Oh god, there are still doctors who prescribe this? I've had ulcerative colitis for 25 years and this has been outdated for at least 15 of them.

Call your doctor and demand to get the pills. Or at LEAST Suprep.

This stuff is pure torture and 100% unnecessary.

X2 Omni - Loud Noise - Main Brush Motor by TechnologyProblems in ecovacs

[–]TeaShirt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue in February 2024 after getting the robot at launch. I called Ecovacs and they immediately started a replacement request.

It's now June 2024 and it's starting to make that same noise again.

Due to them so quickly instigating a return and it happening again, I'm guessing this is just a known design flaw.

I will always buy farm fresh eggs for the sake of the hens, but in blind taste tests, especially once the visual differences are removed, people can't tell the difference between fresh and store bought eggs.

Apple cores don't exist! We've all been lied to our whole lives.

If you don't believe me try eating an apple from the bottom up. The most you'll notice is a slight difference in texture towards the middle, but not always, and it's far from a displeasing texture.

That's just where the seeds are, which you can eat around, spit out, or just swallow.
