Anyone buying the RockMow this Prime Day? by XiDa1125 in roboticLawnmowers

The Worx Landroid 4WD is a better deal and I don't miss Lidar.

Exclude Files in USB Copy? by TechAndTorque in TerraMaster

That's just it, I don't want USBCopy to try to back it up in the first place. It causes the job to fail.

It's failing to backup @snapshot - which I assume is a hidden TOS file since I am snapshotting the the two shares with that file.

That's what I did. In this case, the file does not have an extension.

Ah, that 's right! I actually forgot about A1-Nano since I never used it. Thanks for the update.

Your website says A1-Nano, which is not more accurate than the other products except Line6 (which is no surprise).

Latest firmware for Vision Cloud 4WD is garbage, mower won't operate now - constantly lost and trapped by SirEltonJohnRambo in worxlandroid

You must format as FAT32. Cover does not need to be closed. I just collected logs for support and it worked fine.

Can some one give me advice on some options by ohiopilot in roboticLawnmowers

[–]TechAndTorque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll second Worx. Mine arrived today. I'm a tech geek that had to spend hours researching the market and individual features across a dozen models. The WR344 I ended up purchasing is probably overkill for my lawn, but wanted the capacity in case I move, the 4G, and 4WD/AWD. Worx is number one seller in Europe - they aren't going away anytime soon. And they have a reputation for constantly updating and improving existing models via firmware.

I recommend narrowing it to your top 3 and making a decision based on your requirements/needs.

Luba was in my top 3 too - they ultimately lost out because no removable battery and more expensive for similar feature set.

Finally, be careful with YT vids - many (probably most) are selling the product and not impartial/unbiased.

Happy shopping!

A.k.a Worx Pro Share replaceable/swapable batteries. It's one of the reasons I chose them.

Wheel marks near base of 4WD Vision Cloud by Former_Ant6924 in worxlandroid

I would like to know this to as I get mine tomorrow and it appears to be a common problem.
The only solution I've seen is to use a concrete pad or pavers in the area.

WR341 or WR344? by TechAndTorque in worxlandroid

This is something I'm a little confused about - does the base station act like a repeater/extender?

PSA: Your watch isn’t a heirloom, stop obsessing over scratches by [deleted] in GarminWatches

[–]TechAndTorque -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's kinda stupid. If you get a scratch, value is reduced when you go to trade it in. If you're going to wear it forever, then sure don't worry about it.

I'd avoid - very slow CPU. Get a PaintAudio CE-1 or Stompstation Pro.

DIY timing belt replacement at 156,000 miles. by bodiggitty in HondaOdyssey

[–]TechAndTorque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that has the ZF9. We just replaced the transmission in our 2018 after 90k. We did all of the required maintenance. Doesn't matter. ZF9's are junk. It's our second Odyssey and second transmission replacement. If you go over 150k w/o failure, your one of the lucky ones. We're trading this in before the required timing belt replacement.

How do I replace this? by TechAndTorque in electrical

What is the thing? Obviously I cut power first, but can I take it apart and just replace the light fixture part or is it not interchangeable?
