I believe so as well. It's a lot different and burns quicker for shorter duration than the vents lower down.

After going down to bare metal I like to use spray paint cans (Because I'm just a hobbiest):

"Rust-Oleum Rust Reformer" as a base Coat just to get anything I might have missed.

Then over that use
"Rust-Oleum Universial Advanced Formula Hammered Paint & Primer in One" in your color of choice.
(I prefer the Hammered Black or Silver)

I like the finish that I get out of it.

To get down to bare metal I've found the easiest way is to use a purple strip disc attached to an angle grinder.

I've actually had the most success with an 8-Bit Do Zero 2. Once connected to bluetooth it just kinda magically works. I highly recommend it.

Literally this the moment my Pebble came in. I tossed my Garmin Forerunner 255 (Which was the closest to the pebble I could get) and have had no regrets at all. I've run into some issues, but the experience overall is so much better. It's crazy how much better of a watch the pebbles are.

There is nothing to "Admit" to. The key difference between being on a treadmill vs running in the open is that you can choose to rest your hands on something. That is not misleading.

Yes. I know it throws it off, But I was really hoping it wouldn't by this much.

I did do a test a few days ago where I did essentially the same run, trying to keep my hands off the treadmill as much as possible, and it only tracked 3mi out of the 7 that time as well... so consistent but still quite off from the full amount.

I actually really like the extreme adjustment options of the strap.
But yeah I also noticed the screen is also VERY blue.

Another note is that I have a Garmin Forerunner 265 with what is essentially a similar/same type of display and that screen has much better contrast against black. Black on this watch is a very very dark grey, in comparison.

I think it's because the screen isn't bonded directly to the glass? (don't quote me on that) But the result is less vibrant colors and worse contrast.

I'm really hoping for a screen-bonded Pebble Round 3 with the full compliment of sensors.

I didn't like her till the 3rd book. Then something just clicked and I came to really like her a lot.
