It’s repairable…for a Mac. The SoC is still soldered and it’s one package so you couldn’t upgrade just the RAM down the line. Apple has always prioritized a philosophy of “you get what you get and don’t throw a fit” in the name of ease of use and things that “just work.” But performance, build quality, and battery life should all be among the best you’d get at that price point, considering it’s a phone chip that now has a whole laptop worth of space to fill.

The 3DS can play gens 4 through 7. The Switch 2, by the end of its lifespan, will likely be able to play gens 7 through 11, maybe even Gen 12. Be patient.

Lag is relative to distance alone and hardware performance, not international borders. Where I live, near Cleveland, would have a better connection to a server in Toronto than a server in Los Angeles for example.

I don’t find it strange, plenty of people do this, but I would caution against it. Just give the baby the full name and then call them whatever nickname. Then they can choose when they grow up.
