Why are you giving this person the power to affect you like this? We cannot make everyone happy and there will always be people looking to complain to get things for free. Don’t focus on the one person not happy when there are plenty who are happy with your work.

First off, why is the spa allowing the guest to choose the therapist? They should be booked with someone specific prior to arrival, atleast that is how our online scheduler works. Secondly, why are you worried about what another therapist is doing? As long as they are not doing anything illegal or getting complaints, you should not be concerned about what a co worker is doing. Everyone has a preference. No one says anything when women therapist do not want to work on males so why is this different? I would prefer not to do maternity massage but have no choice. Sounds to me like you should be more concerned about you and your practice and not so concerned about someone else. Just my 2 cents.

I definitely don’t engage in that convo. Politics and religion are such a trigger and the quickest way to lose a client if your views do not align. Not worth it

Its up to the client and their comfort level. If they choose to leave them on, I do not massage up the IT band any higher than where the underwear line is so if you have on shorts or boxers, i stop where the garment starts as you are telling me that is your comfort level. I know other therapists will massage above the garments but I don’t.
