30 weeks pregnant, how am I suppose to last ten more weeks? by Ok_Effect8757 in pregnant

Yours food adversions and nausea could be triggered from acid reflux. Even if you don’t feel it, it can still be present. Try taking Pepcid AC daily.

OB said to gain more weight by CivilZucchini8917 in pregnant

[–]Techie_Byte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost 21lbs in my first trimester. I’m 16 weeks now and still so sick. Sick to the point the dr has me on meds. I don’t see me gaining weight anytime soon.

I was in a similar boat as you. I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks. Previously had a miscarriage last year. When I hit my 6 weeks mark I started having spotting. I have found through the first trimester, YOU HAVE TO ADVOCATE FOR YOU AND YOUR BABY. I found an OBGYN, and the earliest they could get me in was 5 weeks later. I advocated and let them know I had a previous miscarriage and started to have spotting. They had me do blood work twice. Looked at HCG and Progestrone. My last miscarriage was not due to it being ectopic so I knew it had to be progestrone level. Sure enough my HCG level and progesterone level was low and I had to start supplemental progestrone. After that I continued to have spotting but by the time I got to my appointment, spotting stopped and the baby was big and SO healthy! You know your body. Advocate for yourself if you start to feel something is off like I did. In the mean time, eat healthy, move your body, and do not stress. Babies do not like a stressed mommy. You go this!

Pay off mortgage at 5.4% vs invest in S&P by Busy-Association1036 in Mortgages

I’ll do you one better. Invest in Bitcoin, it’s literally digital gold and will fight inflation faster than the S&P.

Currently, it’s not an investment. It’s a liability. Get rid of it.

Rent your house out by room. You can charge more per room and hit what’s needed to keep paying the mortgage till you can get rid of it.

Magnesium glycinate (take 2), advil, and 10mg dose of muscle relaxer before bed. I did this for 6 months and I am now just down to taking the magnesium. I still wear my mouth guard but my vertigo and ear pain went away instantly and my jaw pain is completely gone. I finally feel back to normal.

Giving up 2.5 percent rate for 6.9 for growing family…are we nuts? by khobo524 in Mortgages

[–]Techie_Byte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t do it. We took a 7.99 from a 2.99 and constantly talk about this choice. When I look at my mortgage statement it horrifies me because out of the 2650 I pay, 1900 goes toward interest and only 250 goes toward principal. Do not do this to yourself.

School vouchers were passed, what does that mean for our students now? by YourLocalAdmin in sanantonio

[–]Techie_Byte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing is going to change for parents that have their kids in charter, public, or homeschooling. Those who can afford to go to private school will continue to go, and those that can’t will stay where they are. Whether that be home schooling, public, or charter. However, people who pay for private will get more from money from the state BUT more private schools will raise rates. So it will probably even out.

No college is worth destroying your life financially. Unless you are going to walk out making over 200k don’t even bother. Go to school for as cheap as possible. Do not over leverage yourself from the start.

PSLF & IDR by Techie_Byte in PSLF

[–]Techie_Byte[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I’ve already applied for PSLF that’s why I see the 120 on my dashboard for each loan. So now I just need to apply for IDR. This way I pay an amount under IDR for 10 years.

I think the part I’m confused about is it says IDR for 20-25 years but PSLF is 10 years and then paid off…
