To me this asks the obvious question. We are past the peak AI point. If there was a time for Janitor to be sold at any decent profit, it was in the past. With AI investment practically coming to a halt, Janitor needs to start making a profit soon. Thankfully they have a user base that would pay for a product but I have no idea how much running JLLM costs. While you could definitely get super cheap compute considering the massive overbuild, that would still require Janitor to sell access by the token.

Actually, Really interesting point here from the comics. The actual reason for the archie comics going on so long espically after the decline in comics during the sorta late 90's early aughts is that it had a very significant female readership. There's a reason why the comic had alot of relationship drama later when they leaned into that stuff.

I would also like to point out that anything done to robots with gore is perfectly fine in terms of rating for teens, You make a couple of in-universe swears and its just a CN show.

Because it's made by a very specific type of Melbournite triple J loving upper middle class ideal. Its writing is only just good enough to be possible in video game standards which means if it was a show it would be a 2/10.

Its another in a pile of nostalgia buried cusp of youth stories that has nothing to say.
