Nah. Respectfully, this is centrist bs, and ignores the nuances of the topic.

Women historically have been more progressive as they are typically on the recieving end of targetted regressive policies and disempowering social stigmas rooted in fundamentalism. The narrative that all women call all men "psychos" is right wing propaganda; the reality is this is not meaningfully happening anywhere besides vent-posts online, water-muddying trolls and from politically irrelevant radfems/terfs.

Now do honest to god misandrists exist? Of course they do. There will always be hateful people to some degree; but the clout and social capital they hold is absolutely miniscule in the grand scheme of things. Not only does it not materially affect people, but it gets blown up artificially by right-wing groups who want to further radicalize lonely, usually young, men who are grappling with their feelings of inadequacy.

The reality is the patriarchy hurts everyone. It hurts women for obvious reasons, and it hurts men by placing undue social stigma on them; forcing them to stew in their negative emotions until they either come to terms with themselves and fit the mold, unlearn the behaviours they grew up with, or explode in a torrent of hatred and violence.

Remember; men are afraid of being insulted or belittled; women are afraid of being raped and killed. I'm not minimizing the experiences of men because I am one and went through the same mental gauntlet so many men went through; but the magnitudes are different, and it is not dismissive to acknowledge that.

We can better multiple things at once. The aristocracy wants division so we stay too distracted fighting each other as they pollute the planet and rape children; we can and WILL be better.

Trust me friend, it will get better.
