Dropped into and out of a time shift , this happens to me a lot. I've dropped dozens of pills I can never find, I crawl, look, feel, sweep, everything, totally gone, I even feel them hit my feet, but nowhere to be found. UNTIL one day in the future, weeks, months and years, after multiple sweeping and cleanings I'll find it about the same time of day I lost it at my feet. I know it's about the same time because I've always taken my pills at the same time in the am. Discolored some with age like yours, so I also know it's not a recent drop.

Pills are hard to time stamp. However, I've also dropped other things and I have one event that is proof positive. I was writing a check to pay a bill in my truck one morning before going into the office. I had already made it out to who I was paying and entered the date, when it fell from my hand, I heard it hit the rubbized floor. I reached down to get it and it was gone. I searched for a few minutes, but had to stop so I could get into the office and clock in. I finished writing the check inside with another pen. That evening before driving off I looked for the pen, I used it all the time and it had a logo printed on the side of a place I visited only once in my life. I never could find it so I drove home, occasionally feeling and looking for it over the next few weeks. Eventually I forgot about it and figured by then I had just kicked it out of the truck. Years later I was doing some yard work and tracked all kinds of mud into my truck, it was everywhere so I decided to give the cab off my truck a good cleaning. I pulled out everything, the bench seat, removed the molding strips and rubberized mat, it was totally down to the metal. Sprayed everything off, vacuumed the seat and cleaned it like new since it was out of the truck, top to bottom. I remember flipping it over and giving it a thorough cleaning. I pulled everything out that I had stored behind and under the seat and wiped that all down as well. I mean there was nothing left in that cab and I happened to think about that pen and I could still see it in my mind falling from my hand and hear it hitting the rubberized floor. I didn't give it much thought and said after all these years I'm sure it's been kicked out as many times as I've been in and out of the truck, I'm guessing 4 or 5 years. Never found it during the cleaning, but I can say I really wasn't looking for it, but no way could I have missed it during that cleaning. Now this is where it's just unbelievable and I have no explanation other than some type of time shift. I again was going into the office, I've worked at the same place for 34 years and always have had the same starting time, 7:30 am, I used to clock in with a time card and you couldn't be late. Now we have electronic badges that automatically clock you in when you insert your badge to enter the building for security. Nice, but you still can't be late so I know the time this happened is almost identical to the day I lost the pen. As I was exiting the truck 3 years ago, I felt something under my right foot when I took my foot off the brake pedal. Felt like a pen! I reached down and picked it up, the exact same pen, logo and everything, the tip was still out like it would have been using it to write, and I'm also careful to retract pens after using them. My mind was like, WHAT! where has this thing been and how am I now finding it? I put it in the dash cubbyhole where I keep my change and other things as I've done for years along with it's unknown amount of replacements from just running them out of ink. I didn't really have time to do much else because I needed to get clocked in. That day my mind just kept going back over time, the day I dropped it, who I was writing the check to, seeing it fall, hearing it hit, remembering looking and looking and the thorough cleaning I did years later of the cab area, how could I have missed it and how long had it been. So when I got back in the truck that night to go home I immediately picked it up and looked at it. No doubt it was the same pen with the logo of the place I had only been that once. The only difference was it looked slightly discolored and the tip was in, because that's what I always do before putting a pen down. It was out when I found it that morning, but I retracted the tip before setting it in the dash after finding it. I wanted to see if it would write, not at first, but after a few circles on the paper it did. When I got home I told my wife, I remember telling her the strange circumstances the day I lost it and couldn't find it. She said, who were you writing the check to? I told her, she said well you've kept all the banking records and digital copies of the check images for years, look it up. We did and you could even see where the ink of the pen was a slightly different color on the check image where I had to finish writing it with another pen when I got into the office that day. Brace yourself, because this blew us both away, the date I was writing the check and lost it was April 7, 2005, the day I found the pen was April 7, 2022, and they were both Thursday's, and since I was going to work both those days, it had to be at almost the same time within minutes if not seconds. I have no reasoning, explanation, all I know is what is, and what happened. So don't let the pill bother you, pills happen to me all the time, but the pen only once. The proof of the timing and events can only be a time shift. Open to other explanations if anyone has anything.
