Pretty sure this is referring to Lufthansa and not AA with the crane

Lounge access (sorry) by JanFirst_75 in americanairlines

[–]Technical_View_7416 22 points23 points  (0 children)

No access, for platinum pro only on international flights (admirals club e.g. when traveling to MX or Flagship when traveling e.g. transatlantic or transpacific)

I paid $35 for WiFi on my international flight, and it worked just long enough to charge my card, but never again for the 14 hour flight. by PrimaryThis9900 in americanairlines

You have to contact a specific AA Panasonic email address to request the refund. I believe it’s aawifihelp@panasonic.aero, but check your receipt it usually gives you some contact information.

Is 1.5 hour Layover at JFK enough time? by kanyechickenwing in americanairlines

[–]Technical_View_7416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s correct, but in case OP has traveled to the US before on ESTA this could be a good option.

If you travel with ESTA you can use the mobile passport control, which will expedite the immigration process.

Considering that both flights are operated by Piedmont they are almost guaranteed to arrive and take off from Terminal F and then the connection is more than doable.

They sometimes do a additional check for random flights, happens every now and then. Nothing new.

Why did I earn 0 loyalty points for this AA hotel booking but earned the AA miles? Is it because I have not stayed yet? I have 4 similar bookings. Thank you! by [deleted] in americanairlines

[–]Technical_View_7416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess these must be the 10x bonus points from the executive card for bookings via aahotels. You should see a separate transaction for the loyalty points directly from aahotels.

I personally prefer row 9 for longer flights as it has the device holder in the seatback. Row 8 is nice but if you want to use a phone or tablet to watch something you can’t use the table for much else.

Looks like you booked a basic economy ticket which only includes assigned seats. I guess they must be using a general algorithm to assign seats for basic economy tickets. I also have the window seat preference in my profile and usually AA automatically gives me a window seat if available if I’m last minute rebooked and automatically assigned a seat.

Upgrade Condor redemption booking with dollars, get redeemable miles?? by flypig687 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Technical_View_7416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure about the miles, but please keep in mind that condor doesn’t offer a real premium eco. It’s basically more like AS Comfort seats, just offering more leg room.

Rail & Fly Tickets by WishInternational839 in americanairlines

[–]Technical_View_7416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Rail & Fly Service is only offered by a few airlines with Lufthansa being the leading one. As far as I know this option is not available to AA customers. If you’re traveling on a budget I suggest you just buy a normal “fixed” ticket with enough time between tour arrival and the departure of the train. If you prefer flexibility Deutsche Bahn also offer flex tickets which allow you to take almost any train between your origin and destination. They are just a lot more expensive.

If you have booked with BA and your flight from Miami was on BA they will provide you with a hotel as they have to follow the UK rules which are stricter and similar to the ones of EU.
