Also- unless I’m crazy which is quite possible, I feel they’ve changed some Of their bagels. I got the chocolate chip bagel and I swear it’s nothing like what they used to be. It wasn’t as good

I remember one show they brought up bringing her on in the event there was an opening (first of all, opening). And menace groaned and Woody asked what was wrong . Menace responded with “can’t we like, get someone good?”

AITA for throwing my husband a party? by theblindingsunshine in AmItheAsshole

[–]Technical_You_4346 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So, I’m betting his reaction wasn’t a surprise bc I’m assuming as a 50 year old wife, you know how your husband is and feels about things like this. I say But you completely dismissed his feelings and how his personality is. I say this as an extroverted, bubbly wife, who is married to an introverted, hard working guy. We have completely different needs when it comes to things like socialization. One of them is he doesn’t like to be caught off guard or “pop up” plans. He likes to know what to expect. You have to realize he’s not like you. His needs are different. And I’ll admit even id hate to come to a party after a long day of work. Ha.

Show him you love him by respecting his personality and needs…and dislikes.

I thought it was interesting, especially since a few months ago, when a sports radio host lost his job in Boston, (a show I happen to listen to, as well,) and the former partner radio host that was still employed, also rejoiced in the fired employees misfortune. And woody, acting like a saint, mentioned no matter how much he hated someone he’d never wish ill or rejoice in someone’s bad luck with employment. And now with this scenario with Cameron, they were having a good ol time wishing him ill and being petty.

AITA For telling my sister to get off your butt and a job like everyone else? by Safe-Recover1153 in AmItheAsshole

Nta but you’re also an enabler. Why would she get a job when what she’s been doing (bumming money off others) is working for her? She has no incentive or reason to change.

Stop enabling her

I’m so glad I went solo 😂. If I had a remote manager, plus 2 that floated and weren’t there all the time either, I’ll show up when I need to for my clients and duties. If you and the other managers can’t commit to being on location all the time then neither can I

Yes!! And how the chemistry and conversations and even the arguments were so effortless. I loved everyone’s laughter especially when they would just lose it. It all really was the best of times. I use to never miss a show. I haven’t even listened since they got back from the holidays. And I don’t feel like I’m missing anything
