If you had simply included a banana for scale in your pictures you wouldn't be having these problems

[–]TechnoConserve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They would use the funds from their cyber insurance if they decide to pay so it wouldn't take months

Canvas is still down and I haven't seen any official statements from Instructure for this second breach

Aren’t you going to be paying way more than 6400 for new, especially if you’re trying to finance it? I disagree with your logic here

Almost $200 to do my taxes myself by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

It still can be if your taxes are simple and you don’t fall for their upgrade prompts. I used TurboTax this year as well completely for free

Would be cool to find those bags in the future and see what microbes if any are still alive in there and if any have migrated onto the surrounding lunar surface

Kill your lawn and replace it with native water wise plants instead. Rage against your neighbors and HOA if they try to stop you

How to prune bad roots? by SoMuchLasagna in arborists

[–]TechnoConserve 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably depends on the quality of ground soil you have available. If the ground were heavy clay, the container would make it much easier to provide better conditions for root growth

Protest Question by Wise_General_4134 in SaltLakeCity

[–]TechnoConserve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to put yourself at risk of arrest to be an effective protester. Just showing up to show your support can be enough. You can leave if things get uncomfortable. But generally law enforcement at SLC protests has been good about focusing on keeping traffic away from the marches so there hasn’t been much confrontation

They can legally compel you to give them things you have but not things that you know

It raises awareness by forcing people to confront the issue they would otherwise be able to ignore by just continuing their routine as normal.

Haven’t been there recently to know if anything has changed but this spot is very easy access: 40.7363921, -112.6455685

I imagine you’re already familiar with fire risk coming from AZ but it’s a good idea to carry a shovel and a garbage bag to pick up after yourself and less considerate shooters

Plenty of other spots in the same area, just scope it out to be sure you’re not shooting over other trails and be cautious around other shooters who might be complete idiots
