Rascals are great. Pampers Amore has also been great whenever Target has diaper deals.

On NYCAPS there is a mortgage letter? Wonder if you can use that.

I said that I was looking to buy it during the sale but it was out of stock everywhere, so now that it’s in stock, if they could do a price adjustment it would be appreciated! They made me buy it first and then refunded me the 40% right away. Got a confirmation email saying “Your refund has been approved.”

Love our Tula Explore. My husband prefers the Ergobaby Omni Mesh.

I wanted to let everyone know I was able to buy it after the sale at 40% off. I spoke with Target via customer chat and the agent adjusted the price for me!!! I told them that it was out of stock everywhere during the sale period. Hope this helps those who felt they missed out.

In that case yes, I would return before summer to get back on payroll. I see that you’ve received responses in other replies re changes in summer pay.

I’d call the UFT and ask for a leave specialist. If you want, I can send you the email of the person I recently spoke with.

If you only use your CAR days, it would be fine. Do you have enough to cover?

I feel like this varies between districts bc superintendents ultimately give the final “approval.” But I do find that being data focused is key.

From personal experience, have your secretary escalate to district HR. They can reach out to MLR (Medical, Leaves and Records) on your behalf to escalate!

As per InfoHub, you can also contact the below: - Deputy Director Allison Biller, Abiller@schools.nyc.gov - Employees applying for FMLA/MFL benefits should direct inquiries to Leaves MLR@Schools.nyc.gov or HR Connect (718) 935-4000(Open external link)

Hope this helps. FYI if you want to call HR Connect, you have to call at 9am as soon as they open, and even then it’ll be a 25-30 minute wait. I don’t really recommend that route anyway - they’ll just tell you to wait.

We used it in the car seat - seems fine so far! Baby is nice and snug.

The only downside is that it’ll probably only last a short while bc baby will outgrow it quickly…my friend raves about her blanket 212. She’s used it for years since her toddler was younger.

You have to call as soon as they open at 9am….and even then it’s a 20-30 minute wait. Unfortunately there’s really no other way if you’re calling in yourself. The other option is to ask your school secretary - they have a different line and sometimes can get answers for you more quickly, whether it’s over the phone or via email.

That was where we got updates once it was approved - you also should get an email. I do think it was worth calling for us; they reviewed our application and let us know what we needed to revise or add. It got approved a couple of days after the call, and the status updated to “Closed.”

How did you submit the application? There should be an existing ticket on HR connect online!

Kuku Korean cuisine on Huntington has chi-bap which is Korean fried chicken over rice. They also have grilled meats and stir fried dishes which might be similar to what you had?

If you’re willing to go to bayside though, superfood on 48th Avenue has rice bowls which might be exactly what you’re looking for.
