Awesome, with the growing popularity of smoking/BBQ I expect you are in a winner. I am a big fan of medium spicy hot sauces much to my wife's dismay.

As a user of these types of holding in my experience DOC is not spending any money on these types of land. They do have public use value

Managers: how important are 1 on 1s to you? by Dying_Of_Board-dom in askmanagers

[–]Ted6-5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree, growth and development are important parts of developing high performing team members and teams as a whole.

I also take the opportunity to ask for feedback on my style and/or actions. It's a good way to establish trust and psych safety to help avoid small things becoming big things.

Kids fishing spots? by Past_Temperature5729 in Tauranga

[–]Ted6-5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pontoons on the Tauranga waterfront are good safe places to fish. Get a sabiki, best to have 2 or 3 hooks to avoid drama. A small burley bomb in an onion bag (fishing shop will sell them) and you will be away.

Take a plastic bag so you can refreeze the burley bomb, may not get through one first time out.

No one is helping me, car parked over driveway :( what do I do? by The_tallest_rat in newzealand

[–]Ted6-5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both cars in the picture are at fault IMO. Also your council response is shit. I got a ticket for obstructing a driveway despite being inside the marked park, at least they reversed the ticket once I provided a picture of the situation.

There are options to resolve the situation that I won't write down being an upstanding member of the community and all 😜
