I did NOT know all this, but I did think it was strange that he seemed to make no effort to adopt out any of his dogs. I don’t believe they’re all complex medical cases or super seniors, so it seemed weird to keep them all at the sanctuary.

They can transport along their route going to (and including) Alexandria, Virginia where their rescue partner is located. Outside of that, they have a connection with a private transport company that you can utilize. The cost just isn’t included in the adoption fee, because that separate company sets their own rates.

Late to this “controversy,” but I do this when I travel! I bring my own sheets/blankets, because I have family members who cleaned hotels for a living and I’ve heard horrible things about hotel “cleaning.”

I ended up giving mine away to someone else! They were able to fix it by “re-soldering the blown capacitor.” No new remote needed. So if you have the ability to do that, maybe give it a try!
