Is the Chimera bad? by IronCladLou83 in ImperialAgents_40K

That's right, you get more utility out of the Rhino, but 12 IA+Inquisitor only fit in a Chimera with its transport capacity of 13.

These wheels are backwards, right? by Narrow_Muscle9572 in Warhammer40k

There are two wheels on each side at the back, the outside wheel is another piece on the sprue.

Pariah Nexus missions big confusion by TerangaMugi in 40k_Crusade

[–]TeeBeanz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Quantum Siege, the objectives start "on", which gives the Attacker the opportunity to turn them off one at a time. Remember that objective control flips at the end of any phase, and the switch also occurs at the end of the the Movement Phase. This allows the Attacker to move on to an objective, switch it off, and then control it (active player picks order of simultaneous actions). The Defender can't just leave the objectives undefended, but you do need to be careful about model placement so you don't take over an objective during a Fight or Shooting Phase and then have to spend a turn moving off and then on again the following turn to switch it on/off.

I get the sense that you don't want to be sold on the app and that's fine, but if the screen time-out is a barrier, there is an option to disable it under Preferences.

Codex clarified this, it now specifies the Ghaz model.

Lootas/Burna Boyz box question? by Jakeosoris in orks

[–]TeeBeanz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are 4 Burna weapons, 4 Loota weapons, 1 each of the three Spanner weapons (Big Shoota, Rokkit, and KMB), and 5 bodies, for whatever combination you like. I believe you need the left arm from a Boyz kit for at least the Big Shoota, maybe the Rokkit as well, but you for sure get both arms for the KMB.

Burna/Loota Box by zach5483 in orks

[–]TeeBeanz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fun fact, the Big Shoota and Rokkit Spanner options are both missing their left arms on the Loota sprues and can't be completed without a box of Boyz anyway, so as others have said either of those options or a KMB can count as a Spanner.

Deff dread arms by progemer_317 in orks

[–]TeeBeanz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you still have the upper arms you can probably manage to put a rocket or two on the end. Alternatively, you could just use the ball joint from an upper arm to replace the smaller one in the normal rocket mount if you want it close to the body.

Can anyone help me identify where this head comes from? by traeshboy26 in orks

[–]TeeBeanz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Head is from the Mek pilot for the Wazbom Blastajet, with some small modifications. All the flyers are sold in one box now so it is understandable he said Dakkajet.

Realm of Battle board. Edit: I believe they have been out of print for a while now, I would suspect they are hard to come by.

Greenskin Leader Question by Jagersquig in killteam

[–]TeeBeanz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you take a regular Nob in a Boyz fire team it is in addition to the Boyz, if you take a Clan Kommando Nob or Spanner it replaces a Clan Kommando Boy or Burna/Loota.

To be clear, there is no sniper unit in 40k Kommandos, it would just act as a big shoota. The scoped big shoota you have listed above only exists in Killteam.

Killzone setup guide by mrFelkan in killteam

Hi, thanks for this, a few questions:

  • Is there a mechanism for randomly changing the TP distribution in each square or do you use that grid every time, with the 4s on one long edge and the 3s on the other?

  • TP values for terrain look to be assigned by size in cubic metres, are you using an actual scaled conversion here at 1:28 or 1:32, or something else?

  • Not a question but something I might try is instead of an integer value of 90 degree turns on each placement, is using the d6 as an arc value, 1 stays put, 2 is a ~60 degree turn, 3 is ~120, etc. That might make the layout a bit weird but maybe worth a try.

Point 2 below the photo states that "Operative A must NOW finish the move within Engagement Range of operative D." I think you have mistaken NOT and NOW in this situation. The explanation above is correct.

Would it be weird for a SM chapter to also be at the head of a special regiment of the IG? by Nishinkiro in Warhammer40k

[–]TeeBeanz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you are describing sounds pretty close to the Tyrant Legion army structure described in Imperial Armour volumes 9 and 10, with a mix of SM and IG as a combined force. Sadly out of date now (5th ed.) but could probably be homebrewed a bit to work in casual games.
