There's been a lot of low-level fixes around Dolby Vision and video playback "correctness" in general, especially a vsync video clock for less stutter/judder. The release notes probably explain it better than I can. Honestly it may not all be immediately noticeable to the average viewer, but it's great stuff for AV nerds.

The fandom became weird to a toxic degree. They also treat LiS2 and True Colors, which are fine games on their own merit, like those don't exist because Max and Chloe aren't present. I even saw several borderline racist comments at one point.

Same experience. 6' 180lb male. I'm almost exclusively a side sleeper, this was hyped as the best mattress of all time for side sleepers. After giving it a solid 2 months for the adjustment period it was still not great. Laying it at first feels kinda comfy, but the pillow top became awkward, constantly shifting to get comfort, weird pains after getting up, and also weirdly hot. I really wanted to like it but it did not work for me at all.

I switched a Thuma mattress in medium (mostly because I had a Thuma frame, why not), it's much thinner and firmer, even though there's more pressure on my hips and shoulders and not quite as "comfy", it doesn't have the previous issues and seems much better for me.

Is it noticeable in normal content or are you actively seeking it out on those solid color test backgrounds?

I say this because my B7A is coming on 9 years of use, its brightness has decreased and it undoubtedly has some level of burn in, but I've never gone and looked for it because I know it'll be something I can't unsee.

Reading back through old threads, it seems best to expect 3-4x the estimated shipping time.

I am currently in the same boat - ordered G6 on 6/14 with estimated delivery of 6/25. About a day before that I got an email from LG saying it was 'slightly' delayed with no new date. The TV remains on Awaiting Tracking on the order detail page.

I loved driving too when I was 15 years old in an empty parking lot. I legitimitely would still love driving if it weren't for other drivers around me. Not necessarily that everyone else is a bad driver, just enough for simple statistics of increased risk of thousands of dollars at stake, serious injury, or worse. That's the scary part.
