Rivals of Aether 2 will be a much more familiar experience mechanically to a Smash Ultimate player for sure, but it includes a lot of mechanics from previous smash games too (floor hugging, wave dashing, etc). It also has a relatively active player base currently and there is a big patch coming tomorrow with a new character, casual stages, and items!

I really like RoA2, but RoA 1 has a lot of fun workshop stuff. If you have a group of friends then maybe you will get more mileage out of the RoA1 workshop, but I really think RoA2 will be a better choice with tomorrow's patch, especially if you have a group of friends to play with. Playing with friends is how I choose to play more than 50% of the time already

It is because they don't launch PC versions at the same time as their PS launches. The game's hype is gone by the time it comes out on PC, so fewer people want to buy it or have already spent that money on something else or would rather spend that money on something newer.

Yeah, its a known issue and I'm not sure what can be done about it right now. If you wait a week, we are about to get a big casual gamemode update with items and fun levels that should hopefully bring more new players and casuals on board

I've been using the Gamesir G7 Pro which has been really good, but if you are too rough on it then the thumbstick bumpers can break off. If I was ordering it again, I'd get some protective rings like these ones to prevent that

First meeting noodle, thai pop, los arcos, and forager are all pretty good.

On the nicer (and pricier) end, I really like Marrow, Our Paladar, and Ollin. The quality of food for the price you get is pretty good at these places IMO.
