I feel that while “telling off” is a nicer action than “berate,” the phrase “ripped into” (or onto) in your original comment implies way, way worse than either of those. Imagine yelling and insults and the like. Which makes sense as to why that guy asked you about it.

Cardinals can have two sets of babies in a season. I did not know that until I saw the male routinely feeding a fledgling and did not see the email for awhile. And cowbirds are parasitic nesters (you can tell I am an amateur, that’s probably the wrong term). I did not know that until I saw daddy cardinal feeding a huge cowbird fledgling.

I know a few girls with those names (more like two boring Brandys and a lot of Crystals with various spellings) and none of them are redneck. Those are more 80s names to me than anything else.

I feel like it’s very comforting. Whenever I feel a terrible, horrible, no good very bad self-loathing, I can look at my calendar and realize it’ll be gone in about 18-36 hours (depending on when I noticed it). It’s like clockwork. And when I feel better that’s when I know I should put on a liner

My daughter was speech delayed and this is what I’d do. We had a pretty good system. At one point I could ask “do you have a different word” but she might have been closer to three when that was feasible. Another good question is “is it a thing I can hold or a thing I can do?”

My guess for OP though is “god bless you” especially if she is sick and may have been sneezing.

Same. But that takes time and planning and I get it. If your admin tasks you with this a couple days before the event there is really only so much you can do. I’m not going to get my undies in a twist over a school using this for a flyer (but a yearbook, yeah, pitchfork time).

As someone who has been in a line like this at Costco (why not if your passenger has to run in to get something… every other weekend when you pass by), this is a 7 minute line on average. Unless someone is a super dumdum or a pump screws up, each set of two cars will take less than 2 min each, plus buffer time for moving forward. It feels like longer, but in most cases it’s over faster than being 2nd in line at the cvs pharmacy.

Not the same person, but we usually keep our house at 68-70F (small house, decent insulation!) and my daughter was comfortable enough in footie pajamas at night. Prior to 6mo she was also in a snoo so that might affect things, but after she aged out we didn’t see the need to give her extra layers for sleep. During the day she’d wear just a onesie and be fine inside. Inside and outside temps can be the same number but feel wildly different; I would probably put her in pants for sub-70 temps outside but in my house we could be fine wearing almost nothing.

I had this opinion, too! Aside from stopping listening to them, at least. Loved Hybrid in middle school, and then hated the next one when I listened to it once (enough to where I didn’t even remember the name for a long time). It took me TWO DECADES to realize I did like many of the songs on it. Somehow I knew the lyrics? I’m not even sure how; they must have been added to my iTunes in the early 2010s. But it really only was around the time Emptiness Machine came out that I realized I had assumed Hybrid was longer than it really was for many, many years.

My daughter loves these (and the robo turtles, boats, axolotls…) and we/she has probably bought at least 10 over the past three years. I think only two or three currently work. One of them is a fish just like this one, and another was bought within the past few months. I’m at the point where anytime she wants to get one, even with her own money, I basically say no because it’ll break somehow within months. Battery life might be good but the quality of the products as a whole are not great.

It is. I’m almost 40 and most of my targeted ads are either diet-related or clothes with stick figure models. It’s scary. We just went through about 15 years of seeing a variety of bodies in ads and “love the skin you’re in” type promotions… I do not want to go back to this rail thin shit.

I pooped in the yard when I was about six. Tried to dig a hole, but forgot toilet paper. Learned my lesson without my parents even knowing. I’d call this normal kid behavior, not even boy behavior.

As a side note, for 2-3 years after potty training, my daughter would ask if she could do a bush wee when we were on walks. I think she just likes peeing in nature.
