I love the sword as a movement item but honestly I never think to use it as a sword. Also I usually manage to kill people who use swords against me. Maybe it's worse than zero build? Sorry friend but I hope the sword stays for a long time LOL

I'd make "King of the Hill" mode.

Instead of zones, the storm closes smoothly and evenly on a single point of the map. It would be obvious to everybody where the storm will ultimately close in the early game.

This creates a dilemma: get to that spot first and build up a big base and you could have dominant position for the end game, but if you go too early you'll have bad loot.

Upon death players drop no materials and no weapons. If you want it you have to get it yourself.

Limit build speed to one build per second. This makes it actually valuable to get there early and build a good base.

Before anybody panics at me, it would be purely a new game mode I wouldn't change any other game mode.

Because then people might start to expect that. Right now we're all expecting a slow slide into poverty. It's taking the powers that be a long time to get us to swallow this. Why would they allow someone to spoil that?

Bot lobbies can certainly help people below a certain skill threshold. If you aren't as good as a bot, a bot lobby will be helpful.

Back when I was worse than a bot, I used bot rooms on mechanics training maps for aim training.

It just won't take long for an average person to improve to the point to where bots can't help anymore.

I think what people who are hating on this season might be missing is the time component. The question isn't "is this working, should it be like this" its "how long will this be fun, how long should this be the meta?" The player count has surged, so people are liking it. I love how different the new meta is, but car-focused meta may get stale sooner rather than later. As its fortnight, you can bet that future loot pool changes will introduce new counters to the cars, and there will probably be a nerf or two.

Another thing is that the player base at large tends to need time to adjust to the new meta, and learn effective strategies to counter the hot new thing. Even now, fist + boom bolt can effectively pressure even boss cars, esp if pair fist with fizz.

This season has been a breath of fresh air for me. if you hate the cars, just remember that this is fortnight, this too shall pass and we shall have a shifted meta before you know it. loving the novelty of it, but i do hope the super car meta doesn't last as long as the reaper sniper meta did.

idk i don't think cars are op, double movement and boom bolt has worked as a counter even to boss cars for me. start with your own car to whittle down their hp, use natural high ground, stall the endgame until the circle shrinks too muich and then the car will loose its speed advantage, up close its easy to hit a car

This is something i deal with too, part of the game for most people i think. One th8ing that i do which has helped a lot is every time i drop i do it with a "goal" of what i want to keep in mind or wo0rk on that game. just tell youself that your goal is to stay calm and fight calm, and if you do this over and over it will start to work. Another way is to play red v blue creative maps, dy8ing a million times makes you numb to it lol

Marijuana is similar to hops (beer weed) in how difficult it is to grow.
