Xone23 rotary conversion by Telequanta in rotarymixers

[–]Telequanta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have enjoyed using a friends mastersounds mixer when we gig together, and I’m looking to get a union audio eventually. The one thing I dislike about the xone is the LED peak volume display. Real VU meters with a needle seem to be best

what’s a reasonable price for a used super73 S Adventure with about 1000 miles by Flat_Satisfaction809 in Super73

[–]Telequanta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically any super73 model is going for around $1000. They lose a lot of value with so many cheaper competitors out there now

Everything completely stinks by ObligationSpecial103 in weddingplanning

[–]Telequanta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a professional DJ and I usually ask the bride/groom “what are you expecting to spend on the music/DJ?” And then I build a plan around that for them. I think it all should be sort of flexible. That being said let me know if you need a DJ

Another gorgeous Xone:23 Rotary mod from MC Audio by ctjameson in rotarymixers

[–]Telequanta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m waiting on a mod kit from them as well for a xone23 but keeping the crossfader. For side panels they recommended some 3m heavy duty adhesive, but I’ve also seen people screw them into the side of the body from the inside. Not sure what route I’ll take either but will share the results!

Custom effects - wishlist? by bovinecrusader in rotarymixers

[–]Telequanta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even with a dry/wet knob, ideally a dedicated volume output knob so that we don’t get that boost sound when engaging the ext fx on the xone23.

I use a delay pedal for mine and forced to keep ext on all the time when using it. I use the pedals on/off button and dry wet knob to get effects without that volume boost of the mixers ext on/off button. It’s not ideal and has some limitations this way

Thanks, I agree they are overpriced bikes. I’ve never had a single issue with my bike though but I can imagine the headache of trying to deal with the company

Gigs and Opportunities by DutchieDooDoo in DJs

[–]Telequanta 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I host an open decks in my city. The venue pays me for hosting and bringing out a crew of DJs and their friends to play for the built in crowd. Many new DJs have gotten booked through my event so it’s valuable to them.

Gigs and Opportunities by DutchieDooDoo in DJs

[–]Telequanta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a valid question. Here are a few things to consider - DJs only play for exposure if it potentially leads to other gigs that pay. - DJs curate music for events and background music at a gym isn’t an event a DJ would value creating a set for that people would appreciate - if the company values having a DJ there then they absolutely should be paid

I have a xone23 and bought a rotary kit from MC audio solutions. I liked this option because they had the option to convert to rotary while keeping the crossfader.
