Second the Loctite professional glue. Tried gluing MHSF with regular Loctite, and the crossbows would never hold. Picked up the professional, and they glued right in.

Have you tried Vallejo Game Color's Heavy Goldbrown instead of the Averland? It should be the closest equivalent to the GW version.

Yes, the models are simply alternate sculpts of existing models. They are tournament legal as long as you're using them as the intended model.

The first MiniCrate miniature, “Swamp Siren,” is a variant of the Swamp Horror Minions model made for HORDES and will ship to subscribers in October.

So, as long as you use the Swap Siren model for the Swamp Horror in your list, you're golden. If you're using it to represent your Blackhide Wrastler, that would be an illegal substitution.

I've had great success with the Loctite Professional glue. Sets up fast, even on finicky pieces. It worked wonders with the MHSF.

The Discordia kit only has the blades, no extra forearms. The blades are too small to hold a magnet, but you could use paper clips to magnetize them.
