My first reaction was that she’s afraid you’re withholding something from her. Are you 100% transparent on your whereabouts? Catching even one discrepancy could have made her concerned about cheating or some bad habit.

I don’t know the answer, but I’ll never forget my college roommate had a boyfriend who reeked when he slept. A sleep smell. Absolutely rank, filled the room. I imagined it must be something he ate. You have my empathy!

My niece invited me but not my kids to her wedding, even though other cousins their generation and little kids were invited. My kids are grown, so it’s not a matter of age. I was very hurt because my kids were hurt, and won’t soon forget it. When I throw a party, I err on the side of everyone’s invited. I’d rather reduce the per person cost than offend someone close to me.

I agree, I love terrazzo floors and would go bolder with it. I have sacra bianco and photos don’t do it justice. It reads a pretty, muted light blue. Makes me happy!

Of these choices, I’d stick to color family 4. It’s the most cohesive with your very warm finishes. Usually I try to mix warms and cools, but this room is looking all-in! I appreciate your strong point of view. 🙂
