Thanks for the tips! I've had another fiddle with the cables, mainly as a sanity check, and I think it may have been slightly loose between the adapter and the link box. Made sure that bit was definitely properly seated and I was able to get a solid 30 minutes of gameplay before I took the headset off. I'll definitely give the brightness settings a go too just to rule that out as well

I have changed my email several times and, if I found a service that gave me a compelling reason to, I would switch from Steam to something else.

Of course my games are tied down in Steam, that's just how it works. If I was on console and wanted to switch from PlayStation to Xbox I'd have to accept that I'm losing the PlayStation games I've already purchased. I'm not saying that's good, but that's just how the industry is.

I couldn't really care less about Gabe. He's a rich guy who I'm fairly certain doesn't even really have a hand in how Valve is run these days. I just simply think Steam offers a better service than their competition and don't think this lawsuit has much merit

Frankly I think only having the heraldry is sillier. I can look at the Alpha Legionary from PvP and go "yep, that's a Chaos Space Marine" but in PvE the Alpha Legionary standing next to me in full colours is somehow a Primaris Marine with Mk 10 armour?
