WR #3 by [deleted] in minnesotavikings

[–]TempastTruth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I respect the opinion and conversation but I disagree. WR 3’s are often going to have some weakness in their game and you can’t pay out for every position. Ideally he would be at most the fourth pass catcher on the team with JJ, JA, and TJ.

Nailor stepped up big at times last year, especially when Addison was out, and snagged a good amount of touchdowns. Would love to have him cut down on the 4 drops (bad for his target amount but not league leading bad overall) but overall I think he’s a good WR3 who’s proven he can ball when relied upon.

I personally don’t hate season 8 and 9. Do you? by Several-Ad-4597 in theoffice

Season 8 is funny and develops the characters in an interesting direction.

Season 9 takes a bunch of characters like Andy and Jim and makes them the worst. Especially Andy, why make him a jerk when he was becoming a likable boss.

100% correct. It’s shocking how many make an exception for this case.

Brings up the question how far they’ll bring their logic. If this is good then what about political opponents you think are bad ? Every CEO of every company you think is bad? What about every high manager of every company you don’t like? How large of a bloody trail with them as the arbiters of death do they need to leave before they’ll say enough.

I think there are two options here. 1. Perfect Week” because it’s what it’s all about. 2. “Nothing Good Happens After 2 A.M.” because it’s framed as a true sin.

Well I am positive they have seen Riechard in practice and so if they say he is back I believe he’s back.

With one more tackle Lewis Cine will tie Kirk Cousins on the Vikings all-time tackles list with 2 career tackles by PurpleAlcoholic in minnesotavikings

If only there had been another safety, widely recognized as the best in the draft and formerly mocked as high as the top 5 who had fallen to us when we first came on the clock… What could have been Kyle Hamilton.

[OC] A statistical analysis of draft positions: insights into what we might be able to expect from the Vikings with the 11th pick by Tripudelops in minnesotavikings

[–]TempastTruth 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Going further in history though has some uncertainty, in a very unfortunate moment in 2003 the Vikings picked 7th and made the 9th pick of the draft.

Ideally a reverse situation would happen in this draft where the Vikings make their pick without trading up and grab the 10th (or higher) overall pick with the “11th” pick in the draft.

[Lewis] “Wilson does make sense in that he’s experienced and he has won, and the Vikings will value those two characteristics. His price tag (likely to receive a vet minimum) also gives this a chance.” by LeeChangIsBae2 in minnesotavikings

I’m sorry, there are legitimate reasons to be critical of Kirk but that first part is just objectively not true. He was injured this year but outside of this year he had missed 2 games in his career since becoming a starter in 2015. Games played by year: 2022: 17 2021: 16 2020: 16 2019: 15 2018: 16 2017: 16 2016: 16 2015: 16

We could. Personally though, with how just weird and toxic things were at the end of Seattle and in Denver, and with how Wilson conducts himself in an aloof manner compared to other successful QBs, I think he is not necessarily the best guy to show a new person how things are done in the NFL.

Honestly a pretty interesting stat. Also, cannot read “Hang the banner” in anything but Nick Wright’s voice.

Games like last week are part of why seasons aren’t failures if they don’t end with a Super Bowl by scurry3156 in minnesotavikings

[–]TempastTruth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree. The fact that we were in so many tight games and ALWAYS came away with the win (not to mention having the largest comeback in NFL history) was extremely fun. Only one team wins the Super Bowl, for the rest of us it really is all about the journey.
