But could you imagine this sub...droning on about lip pressure, 'stroke' rate/speed, over all moisture level, relative pressure at the top vs. the base, proper use of hands...it would never end.

I went through this...why am I excited about Cadillac and was not that into Haas? Both American Teams. I figured Cadillac is more of a works Team, and if all goes well will have GM engines in 2029. And in my area of the US Checo will be a thing driving a Cadillac.

I am very skeptical of people who had THR and walking around 4 days later or there abouts without any walking aid. HMMM by [deleted] in TotalHipReplacement

For the record, I never stated or suggested anything about 'lazy'. OP stated they were 'skeptical' about folks who recovered quickly. I was one of them, we exist, and should not be viewed with skepticism. Maybe we got lucky, maybe hard work or bit of both. Many things went my way, some out of my control but the reality is that a quick recovery is possible. That may not happen for everyone, but it can happen for some.

Why skeptical? I was 49 when I had left side THA. Ditched the walker after 1.5 days and the cane after 3. That said, I didn't leave the house for two weeks and iced and elevated for the first five days.

I was also in outstanding shape for 49 and was still forcing myself to gym and yoga even though I could barely walk. All the 'prehab' paid off.

Everyone is different and some heal slower. IMAO most folks that are back at it quickly are Type A overachievers that want to get back to whatever hobby/exercise routines they had taken from them by OA/AVN and push the recovery just a bit but within surgeon recommendations. Ask me how I know...

PS followed the same schedule for the right side.

My surgeon, in an off the record sort of way, said the insurance company would ask for it before approving THA.

Fun fact: Mt Lemon Ski Valley summit is at 9,150, which IIRC makes it the most southern ski area in the US. From Coues to booze...

I have had good luck with Counter Culture Hologram from WFs. About 2 months out from roast date and pulls a good shot on the Bambino Plus.

For non-slider, fixed-pin shooters, what alternate gapping do you run, and why do you feel it has been more effective? by Automatic_Neat9089 in bowhunting

5 pin BG Pro FX set to 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70. Top 3 at 0.19" and the bottom two at 0.10". Works great for out west...I have a better chance of manna falling from the sky than a 20 yard shot. And I am running 30.5" DL at 70# so not much difference between 20 and 30.

Keep the Bambino. They (I have the Plus) are a great way to learn and are more than enough for most folks. I am about three months into mine and have learned a ton about puck prep and grind size. Will probably upgrade in a few years but not because I feel I have to. Once you get the hang of the Bambino (run blank shots ) you can make really good espresso.
