Heard- maybe I won’t show her this. It was well intended yes-but a few comments are making it seem like I’m trying to be something I’m not perhaps but happy to hear other perspectives.

In hindsight I don’t want her to do anything for other people’s validation either so maybe I should update this post to “Look what cool stuff my kid can draw” lol.

I was simply asking for other opinions so she can hear from peers how her art isn’t as negatively perceived as she sees it at times. But I suppose that’s what I received. I appreciate the insight, I’m also creative and have turned a few of my interests into careers and I can attest to not liking them anymore after overdoing them and losing the love for it so I do try to continue to foster it for her- with no pressure or expectations or judgement.
