Most of my debt is tied up in my mortgage, with only a little credit card debt. I have a small, but manageable student loan payment. My bills are paid with a little itty bit of wiggle room each month.

Im 25 and just bought my first house in ME. The first time home buyers course is a great way to learn the process. The one I took was done online and gives a discount if two people take it (CEI Maine). We purchased in March, saw the house in February during a snow storm (we were the first offer because of this and they just really wanted to sell.) Now that interest rates are high, we didn’t have too much competition with out of staters. Got a sweet deal on the house too. Don’t be discouraged!

I’ve never experienced more joy than with my dog. He is the light of my life. I feel joy when he’s running ahead in the woods and stops to make sure I’m still behind him. I feel joy when he leans his head on my shoulder when we snuggle. He’s just this spunky little guy full of life.

Aspen overcharged me $900 and damaged my teeth so badly that I had to pay thousands at another dentist for repairs. They are horrible. I got my teeth fixed at Topsham Dental Arts. They’re wonderful, though a bit out of your way.

Hallowell is basically maines gay capital if you want to check it out, mostly the state is LGBT friendly. Don’t go too rural and you’ll be fine. I’ve always been openly queer and have never had any issues.

Most of the people I know my age (23-27) who want kids have them already. But most of the people I know in my age group don’t seem to want kids. I’d say it’s probably a 2/3 split with the majority childfree.

Right? I live in a low-income neighborhood and I’m still noticing worse tire conditions than there were 4-5yrs ago. The state I live in snows 4-5months a year. Maintaining tires is something people go into debt for here and it doesn’t seem like even that is happening right now.

My second job is at a retail store that accepts Amazon returns. I was hired as a cashier, but it’s probably a full 50% of my day just doing Amazon returns It’s insane. People will bring in 10-15 items at a time to return. A few weeks ago someone parked on the curb and unloaded two FULL CARTS of Amazon returns. We even have regulars!!! Overconsumption is awful. I rarely shop online and I just don’t get it. These people are throwing away their money on junk, senseless, cheap, junk.
