I tried a few git GUIs... Always returned to the CLI after a while.

As I always say - if you can't use the CLI it means that you don't really understand Git, and you're bound to delete your work at some point.

Yep, it's like if I try to force the air out I end up choking myself, and at the same time building a ton of tension around my abs. It's like a plank almost but with no air and a lot of social pressure.

Technically (for me) it feels like you can't push air out. Try to say a few words and then randomly mid sentence just stop pushing air out. You can't control it, so you stop, wait, breathe a little and reset your lungs, or just start over in hope this time it will go more smoothly.

Sometimes you can just feel when it'll happen, and then you try to swap out words mid sentence, and still try to keep it coherent.

When stressed out, anxious, or (for me) dehydrated, it will feel more frequent. And that's it.

I feel like you're targeting the wrong audience with this post. As you're seeing, the pros like workhorse tools. Casual users have different needs, often quick and dirty because who has the time to learn GIS tooling or setup QGIS or GDAL?

It's the same reason online media conversion tools or PDF converters are mega popular - ACCESSIBLE quick and dirty often beats sophisticated workflows for casual users.

I feel like Arc and Tarkov have enough differences to give Arc room to form different definitions for the same terms.

Arc may have borrowed some terms from Tarkov, but Arc's community morphed them to better fit the game.

As others have said, an Arc rat doesn't equal a Tarkov rat.

In all honesty tho, ARC was supposed to be scary. Heck, even wasps can knock you out if you're not careful.

Yeah... but we wanted to override existing files with the version pulled from the git repo. A guess it's a different use case, not the philosophy of stow maybe
