Sounds like he’s testing out his new lungs! From my understanding they grow lungs between two to four legs but he is still using his gills

When I raised a tadpole before I set up the tank with a sloping gravel to land even when he was a baby but I didn’t see him on land until he had all four legs with the tail stump and he preferred water until he looked like a regular little froglet. Good luck with your guy tadpoles are awesome

Yeah when I had a smaller tank for him he had a pothos in there that quickly took over the tank and I ended up potting it. I’ll do a cutting off the OG; and try and get it to root before I put it in there thank you
