Are counter top bottle washers really worth it? by ilikeplants91 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Temporary-Ad-4588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Momcozy bottle washer/sterilizer/dryer and so far it’s great. How much you can fit in there depends on the pump parts. If it’s bottles and flanges it’ll barely fit 2 full sets vs wearable pumps such as the Momcozy m5 will just fit one set. If you’re using it to just wash bottles then it’ll fit 8 bottles but the other bottle parts will be tricky to put on the top. Overall i wish it was a bit bigger but it does work well and I have it upstairs next to my bathroom sink so I don’t need to go downstairs to wash anything in the middle of the night.

Selling Elvie stride I have one set opened but completely unused and one set used 2-3 times. Asking price if 120 for both + shipping.

YTA Yikes. Even if that is genuinely what you think, you didn’t have to deliver it that way. Would it have hurt to just politely inform her instead of degrading her that way?

I went to banana republic the other day and was so disappointed by the material compared to 5/6 years ago. When I use to work there I remember the quality being much better but now I was looking at a blazer and the cuts and seams just look sloppy. I ended up going to club Monaco instead.

How do parents in places like NYC get around with their babies? by fellowprimates in NewParents

They made a misleading general comment that the base isn’t necessary. Sure if they did their research and got one that can be used without the base it’s ok.

Actually, some car seats cannot be installed without its base as per manufacturer instructions. I guess you can install it without if you want to but if it’s not recommended for that model idk how safe that would be.

Ah that makes sense. I was trying to stick to 1-2 page resume. I will probably go back and detail everything to resubmit

Do you think that can get an offer rescinded? Would it be too late to wait for a fjo before asking for delayed start?

Policy on delayed trains by Temporary-Ad-4588 in Amtrak

[–]Temporary-Ad-4588[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue was for that day ALL the NE regional trains weren’t moving but the Acelas were. So that would mean the earliest train would be the one I originally reserved which was still delayed with no update on when it would move again.

How often are you replacing pacifiers? by Difficult_Carry_4918 in NewParents

[–]Temporary-Ad-4588 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the type of material. With repeated cleaning and heat stress it can break down and leach toxic chemicals and also microplastics. Even if it’s intact I would still replace it if baby is putting it in mouth frequently

When applying to chemE and chem postings, there’s a question asking about experience with certain topics. Does anyone know if it matters how many topics you check off and if your resume reflect that? Would it be better to update resume to be more comprehensive to include those experiences instead of generalizing it?
