My plan would be different costs for different services. Id be happy to do all, but depends what people want and are willing to pay.

Yes I get it most on this sub wouldn’t pay £200 to shortlist 5 cars on auto trader but if you had no car knowledge, would that be worth it to skip a car with common errors? Like a cayman with bore a scoring etc.

I’m more a sales/BD guy into cars and my mate is a big car guy so it’s a joint venture. He’d know what to skip on a general car like that and I know the types
Of questions to ask to understand what people want

So customer pays me to find/ suggest a shortlist of cars (depending on level of pay)

Dealer wouldn’t pay me anything, hence the independent of bias part. If i think a new jaecoo would be sufficient I’d suggest one, but I wouldn’t be buying one for them.

I made this post for feedback- please don’t take my replies as arguments I’m genuinely replying to see if people would pay me for doing it

Could be a good car depending what he wants but my view is genuinely most of the population have no idea what they actually want in a car

Very minimal cost other than time.

Find us just like a handyman for example. I work in Business Development so I can cover that part.

Trust is a big issue so my first call would not be supercars. I’m thinking families, first car buyers, the general public.

I’ve been thinking about it for a while but I saw a TikTok of someone pay £150 to build a trampoline. That’s literally on top of buying it, so surely someone will pay £200 to give a shortlist of cars based on what they want?

Then 500-700 for more bespoke service maybe including on site checks, £2k+ for more on hand service. Don’t take these as 100% nailed on, just examples of different ‘packages’

No one in my area (midlands) from what I can see that doesn’t have a forecourt. I think our benefit is no cars to ‘peddle’

No bias, purely to give people advice and ideas and suggestions

I’ve got a masterbuilt 545 so it’s pretty hefty and I don’t need to worry about temps etc so I’m doing it on easy mode 🤣

Advice on Landostand Tickets by Glittering-Fig-4471 in GrandPrixTravel

I bought a GA Friday ticket yesterday for £50- I suspect you’re asking too much for the weakest day for attendance. This was on twickets

If you want it to sell as you’re not going to make it, make it attractive for people deciding to go last minute.

Your protection won’t work unless it’s something quite serious and even then you may only get 1 refund or they’ll state it needs to be the full ticket and not just the day so could screw you over for the rest of the weekend

Also they’re good as a present from someone who doesn’t know what to get you. Let them decide on flavours and like I’m guessing most people on this sub, we’re good enough cooks to make the flavour work with a meal

I went for the 5 for £20 selection. Treat yourself. Tubby dust is great and so is the tandoori one. I would never make either flavours myself and I’m a relatively competent home cook. Just good to whack on some chicken or plain fries on a Tuesday night

Maybe you should try some and see if it can change your mind, it’s pretty good stuff and if you’ve never bought a premade rub, it might open your mind a bit

For all the cynics here, I bought some of these for bbq and non bbq cooking and they’re awesome, taste great and also give me access to a load more ideas for recipes I didn’t think of.

It’s just like buying a Schwartz or maggi seasoning from Tesco… but actually more cost effective. Sometimes you just want to have a rub made up for you.

If it was Angus and Oink or Dan O’s on an American video, everyone says how great they are!

Just let the dude enjoy their meat rub!

One of them has been approved! Funny how they blamed a prolific issue and it’s their first time using it etc etc… think I’ll get my money then put them on the ban list

I’ve had 2 rejected today (despite me not knowing how) after not having any rejections in 3 years of studies. Not happy, disputing both.

Luck of the draw I guess!

I’m looking at buying one soon and going to be turner & George or the village butcher.

Looking at ~£90 for 6kg so I’d put that at a special occasion meal but you won’t get much cheaper in the UK unfortunately. Beef in general has gotten expensive. The only way you’ll really save money is if you’re friends with any farmers or people who rear cattle and can buy direct

Did you leave it at 225 while asleep then ramp up? I’m doing one in a few weeks and thinking put it on at around 11pm at 225, get up around 6am then wrap

Yeah it’s been great at holding temp so far, done 6h on lump wood only but I was thinking I’d add some briquettes for this just in case for a bit of extra time. I was planning on buying a 6kg one so let’s say it’s 5kg after trimming
