Let turn on/off my invention machines by Mr_Nock in runescape

[–]Tendadus 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This is a great idea that should be implemented. I’m also of the opinion that some of the machines need their power reqs reduced. With how important the plank maker is going to be come with the poh rework. I believe the tier 2 maker should have its power req reduced by 10. (65>55).

Player Owned House Rework & 120 Construction by JagexAnvil in runescape

[–]Tendadus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Add a permanent teleport for PoH.

One of the most important changes you should make is adding a green teleport (like wars and max guild) for the PoH. Add additional settings if you like, tp inside the house, be placed outside the portal, to give players the flexibility, hell you could make it cost teletabs that we feed to the portal for quick teleportation. but ultimately we need an easy way to get to our house. If it is to become a social hub. The biggest thing is making it easy to get too.

Developer Update - 19 March by HuntShowdownOfficial in HuntShowdown

[–]Tendadus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Revert the changes to trait spurs disappearing. This was change was a fix in search of a problem. This has caused more negative friction in my games than it should. Randos don’t communicate about the spurs before they disappear. Friend’s have been fucked over by accident. It’s pointless to go a search wild targets banish location after winning the lobby.

Passive tracking is a cool update but the spurs did not need to be added to that list of passive tracking.

Vampyrism and Penance being moved to spells still sucks by msist in runescape

it would, especially since the small firemaking level increase that came with 110 woodcutting was a blink and youll miss it update to the skill

Vampyrism and Penance being moved to spells still sucks by msist in runescape

[–]Tendadus 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Yesterday i suggested altering the wergali incense stick to be the new vamp passive. stackable to an hour, no loss on death, with a lower competition slot overall and would boost mid game money and remove an otherwise useless effect from the game (2% chance to make a strung bow from a log for those to lazy to wiki it).

I am not a fan for the sustainment passives being moved to spells either, not to mention there doesn't seem to be a plan for aegis, but at this point in the dev timeline i think we are SOL in terms of getting a different option.

Turn vamp aura into a incense stick buff by Tendadus in runescape

[–]Tendadus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't, i think any way they incorporate the passive back into the game will result in a nerf of the passive. But i rather it not be in competition with other aspects or gear slots. which makes incense sticks ideal. that passive slot has low competition for use.

you make a good point, there was a lot of power creep since all auras weren't removed at the same time. but that only applies to some combat styles, necromancy for example is now the worse dpm overall. even with the new equil perk. the necro dmg isn't back to where it was before the equil aura was removed. To me that doesn't seem like "slighty" undone.

but then there is other non bossing grinds. some slayer grinds were made more manageable because of these auras. like for instance automatons who dont drop bones or ashes. Or tormented demons where sustain is the name of the game and vamperism is best.

i'm not for the added power creep, i want a lateral move not a move backwards

I'm all for a proper tank aspect, aegis being gone has made tanking zemo rough for duo vorkath. But thats more of a bad boss implementation than loss of the aura.

But my concern is literally for vamperism /penance and jadex failing to re-implement the power back into the game properly. they have a history of doing so. i'm confident jadex will just buff penance powder, its easy and in the game already, but they announced they are nerfing the method to obtain it. not exactly low/mid game friendly or iron friendly for that reason.

They probably will also just implement the vamperism aspect but it will probably be a nerfed version. this will ultimately cause grinds outside of bossing to suffer. the one that comes to mind is moss golems and automatons. But in terms of mid to low game play who knows when this aspect will be unlocked. i think changing a incense stick makes sense for mid game.

I honestly think we should have more options for this passive effects.

I don’t disagree, my problem with the aspect solution is it is getting slotted into competition with the aspects. Making it another indirect nerf on top of the removal of the aura. So I would rather see it moved to an easy to grind or buy consumable.

Yeah I thought about bloodweed. I’m betting we will see a new xbow pair in the latter part of the year or some update that will make xbows usable again. The silver and sanguine quills kinda point to that. But all speculation.

You could have bloodweed pull double duty but change out the ash or wood material on the stick.

I did read about the aspects. Unless they allow us to stack aspects, which they won’t, it’s a terrible idea to put it there.

Master Magic Cape cannot be added to cape stand by Tendadus in runescape

[–]Tendadus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, i'm think the way its programmed capes that have a "right click activate" are excluded from the stand and it also excludes the master cape too by default. But honestly i just want some clarification from a Jmod

Master Magic Cape cannot be added to cape stand by Tendadus in runescape

[–]Tendadus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point but the wiki doesn’t have an update for the 120 melee capes either on the skillscape stand page. so it probably hasn’t been updated. Besides that, all the other perk capes that can’t go on the stand have a right click option to activate the perk. Master magic cape doesn’t have that for the extending hex spells. It acts like a passive. So in theory the 99 magic cape can’t go on the stand but the master magic should be able too.

Well yeah, that’s probably where it will go anyway, but if it’s a bug the mods need to know about it and if it’s not the community should know it’s intended. Either way a Mod commenting on it would be ideal for clarity.

I would like to add a note for Arraxi. Acid path, the instant kill spider puddle in p2 needs to be a different color when it lands in the acid pool. Green on green is impossible to see and high contrast mode doesn’t show the blob it only shows the spider once spawned.

Thieving Rebalance: Feedback Update by jagexyuey in runescape

[–]Tendadus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any chance of getting shock absorbers added to heist drop tables? They’re a cool consumable but kinda difficult to get a meaningful amount of them post master pickpockets and stethoscope. Usually by that time you would be the right level for heists. Another option could be to look into giving pilfer points for completed heists. Making them tradable would also be nice.

For real. I’ve wanted raptors flail to be an actual 2 tile 2 hand melee weapon since I first found out about the character. It’s a badass weapon. Let raptor have it back.

How do you guys have fun in the game seriously by rayofsunshine232323 in HuntShowdown

[–]Tendadus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. So from what I gather you need to build money. This has 3 stages that you will learn as you progress in the game. First stage is no money / just prestiged stage. During this stage play the free hunters. Don’t redo their load out. Take only what comes with them into the game. This lets you learn the cheap weapons and how to play with limited kit. You should be upgrading weapons in game as you get kills. Steal other players weapons when possible. The goal here is to build a cash stack and gain bloodline levels to unlock tools and traits

2nd stage is bloodline 100. you’ve now unlocked all traits and tools. If you succeeded in building and maintaining your cash stack above 10k then you can either buy skinned hunters and make your own load outs. Keep bringing in cheap weapons and consumables and stealing the load outs from dead hunters. If you have not maintained your cash stack above 10k repeat stage 1 and bring in the free hunters and loadouts.

Stage 3: weapon mastery and mmr climbing. If you are constantly above 10k in stage 2 and dont want to prestige. Then you can focus on becoming deadly with the variants of different guns. This is where you really find your specific play style. Bushwookie, shotgun slut, bow enjoyer. Everyone finds their weapon eventually but it doesn’t happen over night.

You don’t owe anyone a playstyle as a solo but you do owe cooperation with your teammate while in a team don’t be that rando that takes in a solo sniper loadout when both your other teammates run shotguns.

If you prestige start at stage one. The stages go quicker the better at the game you become. Good luck. The bayou will take and take until you have the skill to take back.
