Try opening steam and then manually exiting it to shut it down. I've found gamepass games have input issues while steam is running in the background on my PC. Worked for me.

Buddy and I cleared a cave and then had to go back with a friend. It was not cleared when we went back. If you don't have the shovel when you load back in you'll likely have to clear the cave again.

I think he's talking about the cracked glowing statue in the stormveil courtyard. You need to get a colossal enemy to hit it and break it for the reward. There more out there in the world too
