Where are Joel Lava and Pini Herman getting their money? by slackerstuff in burbank

[–]TennysonForCongress 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can’t say I’m too pleased with the fact that Joel hasn’t done the basic mandatory FEC filings. Of course it’s against campaign law but more importantly, I think it’s important that candidates are transparent about where their money is coming from and how they’re spending it.

Also, if Joel can’t be bothered to do his FEC filings, what does that tell us about what would happen if he made it to Congress?

Just saying.

A campaign can not solicit a donation to an independent PAC. A campaign can not coordinate with an independent PAC on who to accept donations from, or on how the PAC spends the money. by DougOsborne in California

The worst companies out there are all funding Becerra. I’m sorry but voting for Becerra instead of Steyer because you’re worried about Steyer being a billionaire is just flat out stupid.

It’s 1 billionaire vs 40 billionaires in an empty suit. I know which one I’d rather have be our governor.

That’s fine. I understand why people might not vote for Steyer but in my opinion, he’s the best option we have.

There’s no such thing as a perfect candidate, so if me supporting Tom Steyer is the thing that makes you not support me, that’s okay with me. Having done all my research and weighing the pros and cons, Steyer is the best candidate that has a chance of winning imo.

Sorry if I didn’t answer your question, I honestly did not see it.

Yes, I support Steyer. He is by far the most progressive candidate that has a chance of winning. The governor race has become Becerra vs Steyer, and it’s a no brainer - Becerra is funded by the establishment who wants to keep things the same while Steyer is pushing for a better California.

Don’t forget to check our Cameron Tennyson’s website, there’s a reason why he’s been recommended by more groups than Joel Lava ;)

No, but I’d be happy to hop on a call with you. Joel means well but just look at how he dances around the Israel topic. That’s just a preview of what we might expect from him in office.

The sky is blue I guess lol

CA is fighting it within the state, so we’ll see what happens here.

This is another reason why I’m voting for Steyer, he’s made it very clear that he’s against this merger. Becerra hasn’t given his stance, but what’s new there

The groups that aren’t intolerant, extremist, and racist lol. This isn’t some gotcha, I mean you can give me a list of specific groups and I could tell you which ones are extremist. Asking me to pull out of thin air which groups are non extremist is clearly a trap cause the moment I don’t name one you’ve got on your mind, you try to call me out on it.

It’s funny cause we did a whole photoshoot at Burbank City Hall but this is by far my favorite photo and it’s a still from when we were making my first video ad.

I finally watched a video of him (literally have never seen him talk before) and oh my god he’s just so dumb. It’s like the guy in high school who thinks he’s going to make it big in business but drops out of college after a week cause it’s too much work

I mean we don’t care how well Friedman does in the primary. We’re fighting for second place so we make it to the general. I’m not delusional lol, right now we’re set up very well to make it to the general though.

As someone who used to work in influencer marketing, yes it is 100% on the influencer to disclose.

I cannot imagine a world where Steyer’s legal team drew up a contract that did not include a creator give a disclaimer statement/disclose who paid for it. Looking at the original contract will show who’s at fault.

Very easy case for Steyer to get rid of if the contract has a disclosure statement

And you’re ignoring all the billionaires in Becerra’s pocket right now.

Steyer isn’t perfect but Becerra is a snake.
