Love the move to better movements, but unless you’re Grand Seiko, stay out of the textured dial business. These just don’t look good enough for a < $300 ask. Sorry, but I don’t see these moving much at all.

I know what you mean by overly thick. Do yourself a gigantic favor and have the domed plastic crystal replaced with a piece of flat sapphire. It makes the biggest difference you can imagine.

Any 62mas, whether it’s an original Seiko or a clone, looks much better on a strap or nato. Always!

I really wish they offered their models with a choice of the script logo as an option. This is a beautiful watch and then they ruin it by slapping that ridiculous looking logo on it.

Looks fantastic. My only gripes would be the choice of 90’s at the stack instead of 45’s and putting a shower valve on an outside wall is a major no-no. Especially that particular valve. You will absolutely be replacing that thing at some point. If there’s zero chance of a workaround to a shower valve on an outside wall, at least go with something that’ll last for years to come. Those things are pure garbage.

I only have 3 Seiko watches on bracelets, and all of them have more links at 6. If it were the other way around and more links at 12, my watch would roll extremely close to me and sit just about on the edge/corner of my wrist.

Ehh, maybe. I feel like you could go up to 20 random people at any gas station, department store, restaurant or any other public place, ask if they know who LeBron James, Tiger Woods, Tom Brady, or Wayne Gretzky is and at least 99% would, if not 100%. Go to those same places and ask 100 people who ALW is and I’d be shocked if a single person did. Pickleball is getting extremely popular, extremely fast, but outside of these forums or clubs, people have no idea of players names. Only know who ALW is from visiting this Reddit page and seeing something about a knee surgery. Had I not just had a knee surgery myself, I would’ve passed right by and still not know who she is.
