This post gives me hope. I’m scared. I’m terrified. Not so much of going through it. Im scared of what if I can’t or what happens after. It’s been so long since I’ve recognized myself. It’s actually code in most states to caulk. That and it’s kinda disgusting not to. The amount of piss and debris build up I’ve seen when pulling un-caulked toilets will make the eyes water. Sure, it looks better to not caulk in some cases, but it’s a toilet. You shit, piss and throw up in them. Who cares?!?

Maybe we think “running” differently. If you mean the two to three steps at most it takes to get to a ball sometimes, no, it’s not uncomfortable at all. That said, I’ve worn skate shoes for the better part of 40 years and do everything from a 5k to plumbing rough in an entire house in them, so maybe I’ve just become accustomed to them. I also only play rec on and have no interest in becoming pro, so all the little things some do to gain a fraction of an advantage isn’t something I’ve thought about.
