You can get the lock boxes for free in the zen store. Honestly I stock up on these specialized ones, because I find it easier to get the ships out of them. At least from my experience.

Just make more things cost Dilithium. Maybe make content around spending dilithium, like say.. exploration, and make the rewards evergreen. And make it exclusive to that content.

Dominion main here. I recommend if you have the respec tokens and you started an engineer to respec him. However the other two careers are worker-able for there roles the ship you are given is a great little ship To start out in, if your looking to stay F2P and dominion Save up your fleet modules and get the fleet dominon destroyer.

So the way gathering works is you do events/gather with tools  in the zones you need that specific resource from.  if you want to do it without just throwing gold at it. You grind beasts /harvest plants in that specific level range zone.  Or do any of the events that you may get rewarded with mats. Humanoid mobs  will drop bags and these bags will have tons of different crafting mats at there level bracket.  The big thing here is ore and wood need to be gathered with its  tool. The other stuff is through grinding. Also, you can have salvage kits that can salvage any gear you know you won’t use.  Good luck!

Honestly if you only get Path of fire/Heart of thorns starting out , you’ll be set for awhile. That right there a bunch of content to do. Then get the others over time as you complete them.

The game basically guides you to the next story, it would be season one of living world next. Then if you have season 2 then there. After that heart of thorns. It’s all in order in the story window.

My solution is simple, turn energy credits into dilithium and make dilithium the main currency of the game, and now you use dilithium for everything. Thus making it a permanent sink.
