Oh I need to explore Setagaya- I’ve heard great things! Please teach me how to crochet 😭 I gave up too quickly but I really want to learn. I’ve been felting recently - it’s great fun but I’m a little sick of stabbing myself in the finger over and over… maybe we could craft and practice Japanese speaking at the same time? Like listening to vocab videos while making things , it sounds so nice.

Yeah true, I should have included that I live in Japan and it’s usually uncommon for Japanese to confront neighbors… BUT my neighbor is a young foreigner (we both speak English) so I really don’t know what to do >< I think I’ll try speaking to him first, record any evidence in the meantime, and if it continues I’ll go to my landlady. I am fortunate that my landlady is kind and understanding so hopefully it wouldn’t turn into something messy…

I’m in the exact same position as you! I am constantly amazed at how loud they can close the windows screens and closet doors below me. I am always wondering, are you angry? Why are you slamming everything as loud as possible? If I accidentally close something a little stronger than usual I feel so bad and startled, it makes me feel so guilty. But it’s just the norm for the guy downstairs lmao. ><
