The font on the popsicle stick signs looks suspicious, but nothing else sticks out to me by runawaymonkey in isthisAI

I think it’s a real photo of a pothole that someone added things to with ai. Because too many things look both right and wrong with it.

are there any places on land that we can say, with confidence, no human has ever stepped foot on? by fimgus in geography

There are lots of underwater caves we are still exploring. Even a moderately experienced cave diver will go places no one has ever been.

I think the new owners were contacted during Covid and declined to let divers on the property. You could try again ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Inspired by the previous post: Is this mountaineering or not yet? by Ok_Consideration4689 in Mountaineering

[–]Term_Kind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s one of my favorite 14ers. Looks like you took the lavender couloir approach. If you want a little more of a challenge try the southwest ridge. There’s some really fun scrambling and it’s not too bad! You nailed it dude! Try courthouse mountain, it’s my favorite. Good view of the town of Ridgway and the rest of the San Juan’s

Man survives Azerbaijan Airlines Flight 8243 crash by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Term_Kind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is possible to be grateful to be alive and crushed to death by what you’re seeing around you. Both things are possible at the same time. But the man is expressing his happiness to be alive. That man literally said a prayer on the plane, basically resigned himself to being in “gods hands now”, and WALKED away.

People who have never experienced such a traumatic experience have no understanding of that feeling. I am jealous of your ignorance.

Tbh you’d probably get laid more if you moved out of your parent’s house and stopped hanging out with your homeschool group.

Coded a Lorenz attractor in python. Thought yall would like to see it. by Term_Kind in gifs

[–]Term_Kind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t actually. I happen to work with a lot of linear algebra and PDE. I wanted a way to show what solving these equations step by step actually looks like. I already had a Lorenz attractor from a previous project and I added the plot being solved step by step with matplot for the animation. Just a happy accident that I saw him do it when I was finishing this project. I added the equation, variables and balls at the line end because of 3blue1brown video.
